I'm hardly "shout your hate and abuse about it" as you seem to think. But there is not a single redeeming factor to their computers. There are other companies who do the same thing for less.
Oh and overcharging does have an impact, it's called Price/ Performance, you know, the building blocks of not being a imbecile with your money?
We was not talking about price performance we was talking about the computers performance. And like I have already said if you read my comments properly I agree with the price problem and other companies do do the same thing for less that is why my pc is not an alien ware.
Alright, here's something. Make it so that you can only change a wheel's direction with use when you have the Wheel tool equipped. I've lost track of the number of times I've accidentally switched a wheel's direction when trying to press a button or use smartsnap, and it's really annoying. It shouldn't be too hard to fix either.
If not that, at least make it so you have to be aiming directly at the wheel, and not just near it.

Also, here's an annoying problem: when you use the physgun on a prop, it sets the prop's weight to 45678. If certain things interrupt you when you are holding a prop (for instance, if you ragdollize with a ragdol mod) the object's weight is set to 45678 and the only way to change it back to normal is to use the weight tool.
For the love of god, fix this.

Are you sure it isn't the ragdoll mod maker's problem?

Everyone knows a flux capacitor is an important part of modern gaming computers.
I'm wondering if Garry is going to have a "Big release" of the update or if he's going to just surprise us with it. No mention, nothing, GMOD updates, then we get on and see it has really changed.

I think he'll surprise us.

I went through the code in the ragdoll mod and there's nothing that manipulates the weight of any props. If there's a way to fix this issue in lua I'd really like to hear it.
Here's the mod:

Specs?
He should put more default tools that come with the game, like the stacker tool, laser tool, door tool, that way people wont have to get it from garrysmod.org. Also he should add a new menu system as said above

I agree we need more default tools. The weight tool should definitely be default, and there should be a default buoyancy tool as well. I also think the physical properties tool should be changed into two different tools, the "antigravity tool" and "material properties tool".

As long as if you ever transport it, be careful not to go over 88MPH or it might go back in time.
^^ Good one.

Or keep it "Physical Properties" and label an "antigravity" property.
Or keep it "Physical Properties" and label an "antigravity" property.
Isn't that how it already is, just a new label?
I always wanted the jalopy tires physical properties in that menu, annoying having to go into console to enable it every time.
I just want him to upgrade it to the latest source engine so we can use L4D2 and Portal 2 maps in garrysmod.
I just want him to upgrade it to the latest source engine so we can use L4D2 and Portal 2 maps in garrysmod.
Well garry cant do that. Theres a branch and both of those engines kinda go off of it. The next's source update will probably be half life ep3.

Fixed.
Half-Life EP3 would be like updating the original Half-Life to the latest source engine.
What about CS:GO? Will that have a new engine and if it does, will it also just be one of those going nowhere?
Anyway, Gabe said that Valve was "done with episodic" so I'm guessing the next Half-Life game would be HL3, not ep3.
I don't want any engine update because garry just compiled his own engine with GMod which means loads of limits (like entities, stringtables, etc) could be removed from this game and actually turn it into something great.

What?
Garry can u give us atleast an estimate to when u think the update will come.
1 month.

He's compiled his own engine? where'd you get that info from? I can't seem to find it...
