What about hexed items showing up in the spawn menu? cause every hexed item I've installed hasn't showed up on the spawn menu and it kind of irritates me.

Calm down people all that was mentioned was the word hats. That is no worse than player models we have now it could just be a secondary option to that section with a bunch of default hats and you would then be able to make your own. But to save people going crazy with pointless hate comments I think we should drop this idea. Oh and for nutnuts and Nikolai it was an idea respect it and stfu complaining if you don't like it go cry to someone else or say something nice and why you don't think it is a good idea instead of trying to start a comment war.

Garry sounds like he's adding something cool (and unique).
This is my own concept... Not too long ago, Garry mentioned something regarding the PAC mod. My belief is the 'big' update is actually the intergration of the PAC tool so that players can make their own charchters. That or... TTT Achivements Toybox MP Intergration RP Gamemode(just kidding) We just have to wait I guess.
PAC is already pretty much complete. Garry would have been able to do that for the 1 million mark deadline. TTT achievements are hardly big, nor is toybox in multiplayer ( I think someone's already made that ) It'll be something none of us have thought of.

menu system, hexed items, portal 2 items, toybox in MP and a more customizable selection for downloading items on multiplayer. Any one of those would be fine.

yeah, it's not bad, it's really neat but it's trivial in regards to things that could be added or require fixing to compliment the notion of a "big update"
The menu is a part of the update; is it really that hard to understand?
A gamemode is not part of the update.
I would say queryphys, but that's a long lost dream. At least make it able to work

if he would add the menu and better addon support (faster loading, disable addons that arent being used like no loading wiremod on TTT) he would be god. I would beg down to him and worship him eternally. Right now I have a shit-ton of addons, that are slowing and bloating my gmod down.
Sounds fun. I would absolutely love to see queryphys. I also love the idea of not-loading-unneeded-addons, but I'm not sure thats possible, and it would require a lot of communication with the server on join.

OR we could have all the numerous constraint problems associated with sliders and pulleys fixed? Hmm? That'd be nice, instead of hat faggotry or useless gamemodes. I'd love to see the base Garrysmod rid of problems before we talk about more stuff to add to it.
These are my guesses, suggestions 1. Automaticly download toybox entities that appear in toybox saves. 2. Animated (toggleable) backround (like in most Valve games) that only uses minimal resources (doesn't load full game, addons etc.) 3. Fix toybox failing to extract sometimes or possibility to retry downloading. 4. Fix hydraulics, sliders, and such spazzing out 5. Multi threaded loading screen. - When loading, two threads run, one for actual loading, other for visuals, making loading animations smooth. I really dont like watching frozen screen while "Retrieving server info","Sending client info". I want it to look always like while downloading a file. Maybe even usable backround where i can browse the server forum, news etc. while loading 6. New menu <--- pretty sure of that 7. Magic! - we need more of that

Some servers will have different physics, which will wreak havoc with people uploading contraptions or trying to get a grasp on the game. Loading speed has to do with your HD mostly, not your processor. As for sliders, use Easy Precision sliders and TB duplicator if you can.

Even so, we should just be able to use regular sliders instead of relying on a 3rd party tool that works [i]sometimes[/i]. Am I wrong in thinking this?
