Also, xbox? But yeah, it would be really nice to be able to use toybox entities on private servers.

Here's a good(?) idea. Every toybox entity is singleplayer only, however, if it reaches enough positive ratings (100 or so?) it should be enabled for multiplayer, unless a server admin enables it

Oh my god. I looked at the changelog and the casing on some of the functions is horrible. Such as textEntry:paste(). Could just be the log though.
So yeah, for those of you who didn't bother reading the de-fucked change log, this is basically more or less a bug fix update, according to the change log. What a let-down.

Skins will be GWEN derived etc..
I literally quit garrys mod after I heard about the big update. I thought "naww I don't wanna play yet, I'll just wait for the update." Didn't think it'd be this long.
About the portal 2 engine, it's too different from the engine that Gmod uses. But doesn't Gmod use the Orange Box engine? so would the portal 1 engine be a possibility? Even if not, Garry often breaks addons without intending to, if he says this will break alot of addons, then i reckon it will be some engine changing stuff but probably to do with the physics engine if anything.
It's already on the same engine as portal, fucking extrapolate.

(sarcasm) Seriously, I expected more from an update thats called "The Big Update" This is becoming the Notch strategy of overhyping every update only to have that update amount to jack and shit. The funny thing is Garrysmods best additions, in my opinion, have come from its smaller updates anyways.
He hasn't said everything he's going to change...
IMHO the text needs to be smaller for the categories, and should include small borderline boxing for the images...

I don't really know the specifics but if its implemented to the point where people can use it in gamemodes it might be possible to make some nice looking gamemode GUI's.
