The new spawn menu looks horrible
...but it looks useful. Now there is a tree we can have both spawn menus as well as model directory folders!
I'm curious as to what that screenshot is showing off. Is it:
A) Gmod will handle lots more props without crashing or lagging?
B) Gmod will have a 'spammer' toolgun to create large amounts of props? (Hopefully limited to Single Player)
C) Garry looked at too many of those "when you see it..." pictures?
A, increased entity limit.
Upped the entity limit in the beta. Probably don't need 32,000 entities.
Lol, when update comes alot of servers wont be prepared so the result is. Those red frieght crates + this = horror.
Or the citadel model that gets spammed a lot.
Well, we have a spawnlist for buildings now after that update, meaning anyone could spam the two building models from gm_construct.
I wish I was in the beta so I could fuck around with the bone manipulator. I'd also make a video showing some new features and how to use them instead of making a long ass two part video showing off things you could already do and squeeze in new features from time to time.

So what do these Screens mean? Bone breaking or something to do with the forces of the NPC?
Why would you wish to break the bone manipulator?
These guys are probably thinking about this video, which is Mortal Kombat footage showing X-ray. So that the Soldier can actually crack some skulls, here's what he has to say. Also, CloverNoodle said something that this could be used for (Good idea, Mr. Noodle).
EDIT: Promise not to go code red on me for mentioning anything like a kid's show, I am sorry if you react negatively or with anger
Will probably be done in a mod, but Garry wouldn't make/add them. He's only using stuff used in the source engine, so if valve added x-ray moves in HL3, Garry would most likely add it.
Any chance for better driving physics? or will we have stick to the default HL2 physics forever?

Amazing! He is finally going to add proper DoF!

Thats still the old DoF, not the cut on the ground.

Is there a specific configuration to make it like that, all I use to get is ugly lines.
GUYS Watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3gG0t39-pQ Now skip to 1:50, it looks like there is a new ingame browser!

If you mean the tree to the left, then it is nothing new. Garry said something about widgets, through I'm not sure what they really are. probably like Opera widgets or anything like that is my theory.

We still have Scars

Was not expecting that.
We still have Scars
Sakarias has done an amazing job on Scars, but i don't really like driving them either they feel too "light" and the wheels are actually axis-welded onto the body of the car so the wheels wobble around and makes driving twitchy and steering (at least with a keyboard) isn't precise enough to really keep it in a straight line.
Although he is releasing a new version soon so that might be better, if not i may just have to stop looking for decent driving physics in a FPS! :v:
It would be nice if after you manipulated an NPCs bones, you could look at it and press R to reset them.
I hope we can manipulate the player's bones. Much potential there.

Would probably be possible with ragmod or whatever that ragdoll mod where you could manipulate the players bones was called.
