How about a bring my contraption to life tool. You make something set it's left rand right hands and feet it's torso and head and the tool makes it come to life like a npc.
Yes this is a joke but something I wanted as making big mechs used to be fun and I always wanted them to just come to life.

I would like an anti-undo tool/menu that keeps track of everything removed/undone in the session and lets the player click on it and bring it back exactly the way it was.

Would be helpful, and might be a [b]part[/b] of the update, but from what we've heard, it should be something that changes Garry's Mod in a very big way.

Well the big change is a given, and I'm excited for it, but little improvements like those would make it even better.

It would, but think about the props. They don't like to be pushed in tight spaces, etc. It will probably just end up spazzing out in certain situations, and depending on how long it is, could cause quite a bit of lag for some players.

I've accidentally deleted entire Spacebuild ships thinking I had the Advanced Duplicator out when I really had the remover tool :(
Add a 'Clear List' option too, so you aren't stuck with a tonne of trash after 10 minutes of gameplay :v:

It really isn't that hard to implement that in, maybe 10-30 minutes worth of scripting for me.
Just need to save model, pos, colour, materials, constraints and angles to a table.
Garry, while you are here, can I ask why there is a flux capacitor on the toolgun?

Flowing water. No idea how because of our engine but flowing water. Would be greate for air tight bases without the need of life support. Or just making rivers.

Thats probably not something Garry should worry about, there are gamemodes/mods to play through half life 2.
A gamemode with the spawn/tool menu available would be nice though. Still not something for Garry.
You shouldn't really be playing the HL2 levels in GMod unless you want to play them with sweps or something

Why not? Ive had lots of fun in the hl2 gamemode with friends.
