So everyone, earlier today I filmed some(a lot actually, 1.5 hours) gameplay footage on NoFear's server for a film I'm making to Youtube about Parasite. I'm glad to announce that, after 7 hours, its done. I will be uploading it onto Youtube within minutes, and will post the link here.

Yea, sorry about the delay, I ran into some trouble with the uploading process, but I'm uploading now on another computer, and so far, no errors.
It just happens to be 100Mb and 8 minutes long, so it takes awhile to upload.
To OlivierHamel: Hang in there.
To cadd21: there was almost 20 dudes in there about 12 hours ago. To be honest, it was pretty chaotic. Aliens were lucky if they had enough time to kill all humans because there was so many of them. I prefer 8 players.

EDIT2: Just got uploaded, took "just" 45 minutes(lol). And now Youtube is processing it for God knows how long. I'm guessing another 30 minutes, maybe? I'll post the link when its done.

I uploaded newest version of Parasite on my server and it's great gamemod. But I have small problem. When host change himself to alien form and after that he chose human weapon he became ERROR. I mean every one see him as ERROR. I was trying to edit "player_events" but it's nothing help. Can someone help me?

Open events.lua and player_events.lua in an editor and change "models/player/male_02.mdl" to "models/player/group01/male_02.mdl".
Had the same problem and this fixed it.

I was just on the server, all the guns are bugged.
None of them have physics, they just float in the air, and you can walk through them. The USP and M4 have silencers attached. All of the guns reload instantly, and you don't have to reload the semi-autos if you just hold down r.
Also, I got "Failed to load sound "atmosphere\wind\wind_rooftop1.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository" in the console, probably a problem with the map.
Also, you can use the boxes in the food room to jump up into the rafters of the attic, which seems like an exploit. Just put an invisible wall there.

I had this problem too... evry one is error. And I've changed player model from "models/player/male_02.mdl" to "models/player/group01/male_02.mdl". But after that Host still became a ERROR after changing his weapon.
You need the version running on nofearkid's server , it's the most advanced out. I'll upload it.

Thanks, allthough there already is one video of parasite on youtube. I didn't include the robot because you keep saying it won't be included in the final version. And as for the aliens, I had to keep the tips to a minimum because while i was filming, I never was a host.
For the darkness, turn up your screen's brightness. Mine has brightness almost full, so I didn't notice it. That must be why I don't need nightvision in Crysis :P
And Lua,
host = The alien chosen in the beginning of the round.
alien = A human changed into an alien by the host.
Those are the terms I use.
EDIT: Of course, If requested, I could make another "episode" with tips on the robot and host. That just means I need players on the server to film anything.

I'm building a new computer , so do'nt expect any release until mid august. I'll still devellop it at work tough. It's not so far from being ready for first tests on the server.

This happens when the server cannot mount CS:S content. I'm afraid it's up to nofearkid009 to notice and fix it. I've tried to get in contact with him but he seems to be quite busy lately. I've also been quite busy lately too, so sorry I've not been in the server much. I join whenever I can spare the time. :)
The servers need more European players! The biggest player-amount I've seen has been 8. And most of those players are invited by me, or speak polish in voice chat(now how annoying is that!).

Sorry guys, it's my fault, I have practices I have to go to and things so this is something I do in my spare time. I will work on fixing this.

It can get a little annoying when there's an 12-year old polish speaker on the voice chat. Though even I chat Finnish with the other players(-3 players) sometimes, but that's when there's only 1 or 2 english speaking players.

I seriously doubt this is a 'happy' gamemode, this gamemode has taught me to fear the dark again, and I've gotten jumpy, trigger happy and rather paranoid. Great gamemode, but you're either satisfied that you've survived and infected all the humans or you're scared shitless because you know you're going to go through his again next round.
PS: I'm drawing some blueprints for a new Para map based on a space station, hopefully there'll be more stuff in it to encourage people to travel around, like controls for locking off bulkheads or decompressing a section where you think an alien might be in. Anyone interested in mapping for it?
