I mostly just make some weird noises to the mic(to prevent out loud screaming) if there are like 20 aliens around me. Other than that, adrenaline/reflexes take over. That's why I'm so damn cocky if I win.
Actually, in Iron Grip I'm so cocky, that some people refuse to play with me. And in there, I'm so cocky because some guy who had won an Iron Grip tournament made the mistake of saying I'm one of the best he has seen.
So basically, I don't shit my pants, but I vent it all out between the rounds, one way or another.

This looks intensely eerie, but not as much as Zombie Survival.
Zombie Survival isn't eerie. You just go around shooting everything until you win, or you die very quickly. And you know who is going to kill you and where they are. In this, you can't camp, you can't track down your enemies, and you don't know who your enemies are.

I didn't have it unpacked correctly. I dropped it into the addons folder, haha. I managed to get it to actually set the gamemode now, but another problem has cropped up: None of the scripts are working clientside. IE: The alien's name doesn't disappear when in alien mode, needs aren't working, the interface is normal, and all the weapons show up as "Scripted Weapon" and are bugged to high hell.
This isn't the only add-on this is happening to me on, so I dunno. Ideas? >_>
EDIT: Well, turns out that I forgot to upload my cache folder to the web-server. I'm a bright one. Working on a way to sync the web-server to the game server's cache folder.
PS: Bunch of missing textures, and everybody else who tries to join the server crashes. :D
I'm now on holidays for 10 days , it will the occasion to test the new version.

Seriously , the official server is not running parasite ..
Holidays are over for me the 23. Then I'm moving to a place where I'm not sure the connection is very good. I'm still encountering bugs playing with bots. I suppose this could wait a few days , but if I can't test it next week , I don't know when It'll be released.
No one who's capable of hosting a server is willing to do this? And none of the parasite fans are speaking up at all? Saddening. I've been trying to find someone to host a server myself but the "Divine" parasite.35 server seems deadset on hosting it's version (complete with a fucking irritating flashlight timer), and nofear says "maybe"...
I have to check to see if I can get another server.

Brand new version. I made it almost from scratch , tough it looks very like the previous ones , for the moment. It's a test version , never tested on any server before , just by me with bots. It features a faster gameplay , differents models and sounds for humans , ammos and 6 aliens skills. But weapons are still fucked up ... I have to make them myself.

Fuck I have a catastrophic connection in my student room , I won't be able to play any multiplayer game. This is now dead for sure. I could'nt even try the new version.

I don't want to seem like a vulture or something, but if you cannot continue work on this gamemode, could I pick it up? I've got tons of ideas and I've been itching to get into Lua coding. I've already been coding in java and visual basic for years, and I recently made a program for extra credit in my circuits II class that allows you to build a circuit schematic including an ac voltage source, capacitors, inductors, resistors (for which you assign values) and every type of wire junction, which it can then analyze and determine total impedance and phase angle. All with a friendly and fun drag and drop interface. It was way more than my instructor required but once I get started on a fun project I can't be stopped.

Personally I tired the demo and I thought it sucked, but that's just me.
Does someone want me to upload the high quality music module I made for parasite? Currently it won't work on scriptenforcer enabled servers because the module is a clientside file but it's still awesome to use, just type in start_parasite_music in the console and you're done. But it's big though, because I went for quality, around 50 MB for about 60 minutes of SS2 music.
I've seen a server running. So , what are the bugs ? Any reports ?

Thanks man! I'm pouring over Lua code, wikis, and tutorials right now. There are some odds and ends that I'm still figuring out, but I'm glad to find the syntax isn't overly complicated. I hope to start coding within the week. If I do eventually release a new version I'm calling it "parasite: redux" or something rather than "parasite 2.0", so if you want to get back into it and release your new version it doesn't encroach on the name. Thanks again for the opportunity! I'm gonna have some fun with this. :D
