This is a really fun gamemode! Me and 23 have had some good fun.
I host a listen server from time to time, and I have a ready list of people to summon to the game.
The offending error model is female_05. I fixed the issue by changing your random integer used for calling a model so it's 1-4 instead of 1-6.
I was playing earlier with catbarf and Mr23, this gamemode is really fun. I think it's one of the better gamemodes I've played in sometime and the best part of this game is the psychological factor of not knowing who's human.
Needs better maps though

At the moment the title and stuff kinda sucks, but if/when Icky joins I will promote him to an officer and he can make it better if he wants. EDIT: if anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to know. ^_^ EDIT2: No one's ever joining, so I'm switching back to sandbox for awhile.

I guess servers needs a decent map rotation to attract more people. I don't even play parasite.
Mindtsitah's corner use "differents class table" . I guess it uses an old version of GMOD10.
Heads up in case anyone wants an excuse to get back into this gamemode! I'm recreating the Aliens vs Predator 2 map "Auriga" for parasite. It's a medium sized, winding-hallway map that should go very well with this gamemode. I had already converted almost all the textures so I started working on it yesterday evening, and it's moving along quickly. That's the great thing about remakes, no mapper's block! I'm hoping it'll be done by the end of next week. This is just a fraction of what's done so far. I think you need more servers up that's how you get a game mode started

With this, spaceship, cerberus, and outpost we now have 4 good maps with very different layouts. Someone should host a server that doesn't just use one map but cycles through them every few rounds to keep things fresh. It's about time we got a server with a good map rotation!

The new version of parasite doesn't show up in the gamemode list for singleplayer so I couldn't see if all the parasite entities were working. Also if you're reading this and you run a parasite server, for god's sake set up a map rotation. No one likes playing one map all the time, switch it up like every half hour. Using only one map is the quickest way to kill a server and a gamemode.
There would be more people playing if they didn't all quit when they have to dl the maps over the limited server connection. I was just playing for a bit and I can't tell you how many times I saw "[namehere] is joining the game", and [namehere] never shows up. Would have been at least twice as many people playing if they didn't quit. Maybe a note in the server name ("Big maps! DL from garrysmod.org") would help, I dunno.

I tried the gamemode with a couple of friends, and it was far better than expected! I really like the outpost map, which i also guess is based on the environment from the film. But its the only one with ambience sounds, which makes it far the best. I like the Scream sound when you turn alien, but the breathing alien voices are a little wierd, its good they're there, but they just sound wrong, and there are way to few, or they're way to short, so they just repeat themselves. Also maybe there should be added interior to the maps?
Interiors ? For the repetitive sound part , yes they are , but they are needed . Sound is an important part of the gameplay , unlike in all other fps.

-Old msg- Aw damn it, I'd join in but i'm already booked in with participating in another beta test today (Saturday) at 3PM GMT. :( Wish you all the best with the Sauer Parasite though :D -old msg- Well I did get to free the time up to help test after all, and while so far we're talking pre-alpha stage, it's looking promising, with only 1 game-stopping bug happening. I saw the normal human and the alien class, the alien transform (along with sound cue and movement speed and jump height changes) and an alien cloak ability. (which I didn't work out how to do myself. :P) Needs were in too, but our test was on a random 1v1 ffa map that didn't have need placements. Needs running out did mean death though. :) Unfortunately, there were only 2 of us, so I didn't see a spawn class, or robot. (if the robot is even returning!) Still, excellent work so far Ickylevel, this should be one to watch!
