And if someone uses the alien form, everyone can hear it. and huge camping can appear when those needs are close together.

i don´t know why all use gm_construct there way better maps but ok maps that can be not bad for this gamemode are cs_office de_dust2 de_dust and some more they are a bit small too but there you can plant the needs better :P

I think it would be interesting to see Bahamut, the full ship, converted into a Para map. It has all the stuff for it from what I remember. Large maps with lots of stuff in them such as twists and turns and objects to hide behind. Even take some RP maps and put them to better use. Imagine shooting an alien with a shotgun in the middle of a police department.

yeah then go and ask the creator of the map makes :P i don´t think it´s a good idea to port the map without permission of the map creator (maybe he is going to port it by himself :P)

Whenever I die or turn into the alien, my game crashes! Any help with this availible?

try removing all addons and scripts if this won´t work check your computer is strong enaugh to handle GMod like min. 1 GB RAM etc. because i never saw someone saying it crashes

You probably won't have a chance to play it , unless a server host it.

Looks like the new update broke stuff! The aliens view mode has broken, leaving you only able to see the missing texture thing. (pink and black squares) Could someone fix please!

i commented that error things out but right now the server has problems so he´s down :S i need to wait for Maxi :S and for the errors we need to wait for garry :P Edit: My Server is back :P

because of that broken gamemode gave me enaugh power to continue writing at 0.5 maybe ill find a way to fix 0.3 even it´s better to wait til i finish 0.5 :P because it will be have for example convars instead of some variables in the init.lua so it´s much more easy to hande the gamemode and i commented the function GAMEMODE:HUDDrawTargetID() at cl_targtetid.lua out as well the function GM:RenderScreenspaceEffects() in cl_init.lua i know the code isn´t easy to read so it can be a problem to find the right ends for the functions etc. (that´s why i clean up the code at 0.5 i already made it to remove 4 files wich aren´t needed anymore :D)

Hi guys. Basically I've just started playing gmod10 yesterday. (played all the older ones). I saw your parasite test server on the list so i thought id give it a go for a laugh... well what can i say. I was addicted, the very concept is amazing, i got all my friends to join it :d we had a great time scaring each other on vent, and trying to psyche each other out :D Without any doubt, me and my guys all agree this is the best mod we have ever played. PS I thought you guys might wanna know, i experienced some minor problems with it. Firstly, the textures of the symbols that tell you where to locate certain needs (eat,sleep, drink, toilet), they appeared at the pink missing texture. This problem however fixed itself, i simply pressed the windows key, and the game was fine again :) The second problem is that when i got killed by a host alien, i would always spawn inside of the cieling lol :) I hope that helps :P PSS i noticed the servers back up :d...but its passworded :(

if you mean YaS#6 yeah i got it back but after i saw that many bugs wich came with the new update ishutdown the gamemode for the moment and tested the hl2-campaign at it (wich makes many crashes that will be the biggest crashlog packet i´ll ever send to garry :P) anyways working at 0.5 goes good basicily i removed most of the function and now recreate them in better ways i hope to make it that you guys can test it in ca. a week at my server :D (i´ll say a week because i won´t have the time to write at it all the time :P) one new thing is that the alien chat now gets logged at data\para_alienchat sure you can disable loggin via para_alienchat_log 0 :P

I'm excited at the prospect of progress, but we still need that new map.

Always fun to be the alien and knock the lights off repeatedly, then ambush someone who comes to 'investigate' Also, a tactic that came up is people proving their human by using the need sounds to each other. However, this also had a funny tactical edge, as the aliens would announce to the other players that they had 'cleared' each other. Weird. I thought the map was new too. Oh yea, I'm having problems that when people shoots I lag.. It's not because of lag on the server, because it even happens on my own server over lan..

[b]Edit:[/b] My graphic card is disabled (there is a tiny resistance that was snatched). I now use a POWERFULL geforce 2 MX 400 ! It basically means : No post 2000 3d game for me !
