Today I was on this decent build server. Some kids come in and start talking over the mics. I ignore them. Soon one of the kids makes a freaking rectengular "flying ship" with four overpowered turrets that shoot at the same time and bombs -_-... They kept spamming. I left the server as soon as I made my contraption, adv dupe saved it and killed them atleast 50 times using CS:S weapons! =D
I am 13. I also think logically. I ask if it would annoy anyone that I use my mic (and my voice is pretty deep). I do think that kids can be annoying. I deal with 10 year olds my self. They whine and bitch all day long. Raging and raging, know an admin that is older doesn't give a shit about kids. It's funny to say stuff that they don't understand because they think "It's a video game, I can do whatever I want and get away with it because I am young and stupid". I get treated more like an adult than a kid. Because I act as mature as I think I am. Not just think I am mature and so I am.

Not really... well yes if 2months till 16 counts as kid, but the thing is that everybody who was still on the server started killing them and I just wanted to have a little fun :P... oh and gearboxes are shit hard to align!
The reason this game attracts kid is because it's basically legos, but with guns and nukes and flying death machines.

There are older people that act immature. I am 12, I try not to annoy or piss of other people. I normally get pushed aside because of my voice. It irritates me to think that just because someone is in a specific age group, everyone else should hate them and they should burn in a fire. Everyone was a kid once. We may not have all played online games as a kid, but those who do shouldn't have to be pushed away because of their voice. My age group is a bunch of idiots I guess. :saddowns:
I don't go on RP servers much anymore, its just random killing and screaming about how someone stole something. Stealing is apart of playing a role, I don't think that people understand that.
Ever since RP came in, the whole game turned into Roleplay. I just can't take it seriously, its so hard to find a server that actually took time to make, that also has good management.

Yesterday on my and my friends server 2 danish and 1 American kid joined.
They kept asking for money and they owned [B]ALL THE DOORS[/B] In Downtown.
And they [B]COULDN'T[/B] speak English.
The only word they knew was: GIMMUH MONEY (like this) After a while we kicked them out and there was one kid left on the server wich was afk with like 10 money printers infront of him. We destroyed his moneyprinters broke his door and kicked him after that.

I started playing at like 11 or 12 (14 now) and I was always against people for being against kids. Now I TOTALLY see from your perspective. I was fairly annoying and minge baggish cuz I thought it was fun (only for like the first two weeks or so)and then I matured and realized how much it ruins other peoples games and time unless of course it's a minge bag server where counter minging is ok(lol). And though not all kids are super annoying spazzes, too many on G-mod are. So kids,don't use mics, and don't minge. Once your voice drops to a tolerable level, you should use the mic.( and yes I know i'm still considered a kid, but I am not a squeaky spaz.)
I am 15. I help with a server as super admin. I see many kids come to the server, but most of them are pretty decent. I help them whenever they need it, and give advice on how they could improve whatever it is they are doing. I sometimes let them play around with my contraptions, and the server is a cheerful place regardless of peoples age.
So, I reckon most of them are okay. But it is inevitable that we do get the odd child who seems to think he is above server rules. These I warn, and if they persist then I begin to freeze or jail them. Some of them will improve their behaviour, and they get let go. I do not like kicking or banning people, and avoid it if necassary- but on the occasion that we get someone like a spammer or a complete dick, then I like to quickly see them on their way.
So like I said, some are friendly and act mature. Its hard to stop the others without banning them, unfortunately.
This game needs way more kids.
My friends and I ran a server where one of the rules was "If your balls have not dropped, your mic is OFF."
Alot of the kids are people lured in by Gmod videos thinking they can do this, or want to sex pose v:v:v
