I screwed up my acf installation somehow. The public car has errors on it, presumably acf. My own acf car, when in public server works fine. Errors for me in singleplayer though. Followed the installation instructions to the letter but still don't think it's correct. Please help me out.
I was using the old method of having seperate ACF models folder and ACF folder in addons. The new instructions seems only need 1 ACF folder in addons.
I found out that the public car has a rear thruster stabilizer on it! This must be stopped at once.
yeah it does, but it's not being used to propel the vehicle. it's there so i could fine-tune the over/understeer
Only acf is allowed to power the vehicle; no thrusters, applytorque, etc,
I must have understood this as including the aforementioned thruster
would an apply torque based sterring system be allowed, generaly what I do is that instead of using hydraulics to rotate the front wheels I will use apply torque to give me a bit more control over the angle, just wondering as its not used to propel the car

Karbines premade car has a e2 for the turning.
i need everyone who's going to be in the race this weekend to state that you're going to be there and what times you have available this weekend. we can run the races on sat or sunday.

I'd like to join but are all the groups racing?
I kinda fucked up on my car so I ended up having to make it a group 3.
if all groups are racing I'd probably be around anywhere from 10am to 1am GMT+1 on saturday and 10am to 10pm on sunday.
Are multiple engines allowed (2x 2.2l i6)?
If you could, it would only be for Group 3 vehicles. Still would be good to get confirmation from Karbine, but he doesn't seem like he's keeping up with this thread much.
My entry

I would attempt to make a car to enter this, but ACF messes up my Smart-Snap. Does anyone know if there is a fix for it? It's hard to describe, it makes everything that I use the easy<weld/axis/ballsocket/etc> tool with...offset? I can't explain it, I can make a video if you have no idea what I mean.

you have to delete battlepod.lua, but I think it is fixed on the latest SVN.
gonna host the races on sunday, probably gonna run the event most of the day; just come by (or message me on steam) when you want to run your time.
You're hosting the races on Easter...?
i don't have a choice unless you want to do it on monday
i won't be back till late today (it's 1pm pst, be back probably 8 hours?)
if you want to do a run, message me when i get back and you can run today.
anyone racing today; just message me on steam or go on the dong den ( 74.63.197.181:27015 ) for your run!
isn't anyone fucking coming
i try to run these events and no one ever shows
GROUP 1 IS FIRST EVENT
I mean, I actually had a truck for group 3 that could hit 100mph and did 0-60 in around 8 seconds, even though it weighed quite a bit (neighborhood of 4000?).
rally's going good; we've had 4 people compete for stage 1, and possibly 2 more entries tomorrow. doing this in 2 days because of easter and shit.
I meant to participate in this, but I haven't had time to screw around with E2 to get a gearshift going. I'll get on that soon.
Are we allowed to compete if everything we make is ugly as hell?

ahahaha +10 internets to whoever can guess what inspired that horrifying thing. Literally the first semi-realistic 'car' I've ever tried making. Could have been worse, no?

wow that's miserable ahahaha
ahaha, yes, I originally saw a 1963 911, thought it had nice design and started trying to replicate it. I then somehow got onto the page for a Supra, and that progressed to a Golf MKIII, then to a Fastback, then to a fucking 1960 Bentley where I was like "Long hood is long!"
I call it the 912th SupGo-
No.
SuGoesFast -
No.
Su aw fuck this shit
At first glance the rear looked like early-mid 20th century luxury car to me.
