A quick clue: 10,000 shipments and world trading + economy
10,000 shipments nearly killing me.
Infinity: Think along the lines of "fixing" shipments in a similar way to how "player classes" need to be fixed, then we're onto a winner :P
What is the "Money" slider used for, as seen under "The first menu"? Does this mean the player may set a client based salary?
Yea, each job doesn't get a salary it gets tokens. The tokens can be used to customize the salary, you can be greedy and get full cash or run faster and get more stamina.
The 10,000 shipments is a clue. I'm not saying some shit like admins can spawn that many.
Update: Just got a 100 slot uk based server up.
Interesting, so these "Tokens" can they be used for any roleplay statistic? I like the idea.
There will be money, but there are tokens to like "buy" a custom salery
I decided to tell you about the 10,000 shipments. Get bored then become a factory owner and open the factory manager.
You can employ workers. Make produce. And ship it to other countries all from a virtual manager.
This is where the economy comes in and the non violent illegal system
Make drugs, guns or money and ship it out for cash.
Great, I hope it works out. As for the factory management, when you say "Employ" do you mean Players, or a "Variable" that represents your factory workers. This Roleplay has a great foundation, and I hope it continues to grow.
A 100% "invisible" feature, it will be done in a menu by variables. But people will quit if under paid and you can hire real players to look after your buisness
Sounds similar to SeriousRP but sufficiently different to an extent. I also have factories, etc.. but people earn salaries set by the boss, and a new boss is elected by the executives if he quits the organization or disconnects. Just testing my new door system right now, then it's definitely bed time.

A respected member gets the boss job and they can go to any player, press e. Then they set the job name, salary, weapons and playermodel. Then the other player has to accept
Dang lol, I should have coded this earlier. Oh well, at least we both came up with it independently. It still is a little bit different, though. Plus, since we haven't seen either of our games yet, they are bound to end up slightly different.
The things I put in my gamemode - I did expect someone to think of them too - but not just as I started coding mine since I've put it off for a year while I did other things and luckily nobody created anything like what we're doing, ah well, that's just the way it goes. I do however, wish you luck with your gamemode and I guarantee that although they seem to be similar now, and will probably end up being identical, we definitely have different features because I have not mentioned all the features SRP will have yet.
MurphyRP will also be similar to our 2 gamemodes, but different. Choice is a good thing, we have to move beyond DarkRP and LightRP
My next bit of secret sauce is how the doors work. I'll not mention anything more about how they work in SRP - but they will probably end up similar - again, because great minds think alike XD

Yeah, what would be really good (for CityRP) is - you know how in DarkRP you can make doors non-ownable?
Well, how about an admin can define rooms by setting a pair of doors as belonging to one room, then it gets saved on the server. Then you can have a room rental job / system going on.... (I've not done it like that, mine's more of a combination of DarkRP's old door system, updated to be more realistic and easier to manage)

Wait, wasn't 64 slots the limit? :O
Also, where the hell do you need a hundred slots? You could do playtesting with a four-slot server, and singleplayer is the easiest way to code while in-game (Allows you to reload the gamemode on the client, so that it reflects all the changes instantaneously.)
