What's the worst thing ever to happen to you in GMod? - Garry's Mod

when i had to reinstall it

spending 45 minutes for generating spawnicons for stuff i'm not even goin' to use. (*bad english)

1. when gmod f*cks up and bs's my computer becuase of a shitty vertex buffer overload. 2. when addons dont work 3. when there are no admins on, so all the 5 yr olds on the server think they can spam everything all over everywhere and then connection-timeout themselves. 4. adminges

Having built my first airplane using PHX then forgetting it was the breakable glass then redoing it and on first test the airplane parts get glitched and spins around in a giant tornado

Crashes. They ALWAYS HAPPEN AND I HATE THEM. Almost every time I play, I don't exit the game because I didn't feel like playing. I exited because of CRASHES. And also, instead of giving me an error message, it just gets stuck on the screen. So then after I restart my computer I don't feel like playing GMod anymore because Steam suddenly seems to take hours to start up and log in and it takes GMod that long to load anyway. Also, for a while, whenever I opened the spawnmenu, a LUA error would show on the right. Also, whenever I spawned any object, an error would also appear. It didn't actually hamper the game, but it was very irritating when I had all these errors blocking my view to the right.

Piloting a dreadnaught your buddy built in spacebuild and having the enemy destroy your right rear thruster and then as a final move, board the ship and kill any of the players out in the open and destroying the life support leaving the ship inoperable, and the crew and myself dying slowly.

joining an rp server

Well just now me and my friend where on GMS, we had a lot of tools and a nice wooden house, then 2 assholes with stunsticks come up to us, claimed war and destroyed us and our base. The admins did nothing.

1.joining a server and crashing in 5 mins or less 2. joining a server and actually not crash and you get into the game build something realy cool...then crash 3. i got banned for 15 mins from a server reason "Dawg" -.-

Walked up to some admin on gm_buttes. He was building God knows what, I think some fail buggy. He turned around, screamed something that was impossible to understand, grabbed me with his physgun, threw me around and then slayed me. It was definitely a random wtf moment. FYI he wasn't a 6 year old, but my best description is young adult with a 6 year old's mind trapped inside.

Spending a few hours on a contraption that gets deleted due to a massive cleanup process by an ignorant admin.

Getting banned from favourite server.

Trying to fly a new plane I built and it just turns into a black hole.

BSODing during the loading screen and finding out my PC just fried itself. Still can't believe it's been two years since that happened.

some minge joins the server and says "guess what, the servers gonna crash" he starts spamming these huge props and the server crashes. >.<'

Server / Program crashing everytime i make / do something awesome that took me hours :<

Either gimping my self and not being able to undo it because I was gimped. ---OR--- I'm making something really huge and awesome and I spawn a wrong prop. *Presses Z* Weld from like 10 minutes ago goes away and everything falls apart.

going on envirocity and going into the cave and gettin bsoded luckily nw with a new computer i can go in there :D edit: o yeah and also playing any map with a small skybox and try calling in an ac130, makes me sad that there aint many maps that are very tall

I was on a server the other day and me and my bud were making a bomber, as we put the final touches on it and added a display panel for aiming the bomber, some guy already had a feed up and was doing stupid shit with it. We got in a dispute and it ended with a mod throwing the bomber me and my bud worked so hard on in the drink and making an example of us in front of everyone. It may not seem like much but it was so degrading... :(

having 30 guys on my server my server was set up for proper rp all difrent shipments with real css weps, like 20jobs all proper equipment new skins everything and everytime i came on there was ALWAYS 1 admin abusing his powers and trying to defend himself by saying that they killed me he was nocliping everywhere blowig ppl up with gbombs and it hapend to 3 admins of mine and after i deleted all my admins cuz they all sucked no one joined my server again only like a random 2 or 3 a day i wasted 60euro on a brilliant server and everything..for rent

That job should be held by trusted friends and family.

Some People on Fretta Server because they're always voting for GarryWare2. Bunch of noobs vote even if It could be 10th time playing GWare2.

Black screen when i open a spawnlist, goddamn icons. ive tried the disable pre load or whatever, still no work.

#1: When I spend a long time building something and I place a weld that makes it start randomly spazzing. #2: When some asshole spams huge props all over the map that make it lag like hell but doesn't crash the server. Then you have to either disconnect or wait for an admin to clean everything up because the server doesn't restart..

well, except for the 15 minute load time... the worst thing ever happened to me in gmod was that i was being rdmed and spawnkilled all the time until i ragequited
