Yes, I did create Power Krew Servers. If you are referring to the couple of members that got hacked by the "Click here for free steam games" scam, then yes, I am not surprised if you received a scam message from one of them. Certainly.
Download, then double click on the .zip file.
Then just drag the folder called G-Addon to any desired location. (desktop is easiest)
Then open the folder and double click the G-Addon.exe binary.
The reason for this is because it uses wget to retrieve the addons and this only works if the two files are in the same directory.

Posting the source also gives us a way to compile it for ourselves, to see if the program operates the same as the uploaded executable, which would prove this isn't malicious in any way.

Judging that I have received very little "thanks" and more flaming than help, I don't see why I should just GIVE my last 2 weeks worth of work away.
Sorry, these programs are free, but the source code is not. Besides some of the programs have over 4000 lines of code, the revision of G-Addon already has 6,000 lines. I refuse to hand this over to the ungrateful masses, just to have them remake it and claim credit.

You do have a fair point about the idiots who are just shouting "l0l viru5!!1" at you. So long as you can at least promise that it does no harm that is good enough for me.
Nobody has actually reported their account going missing yet, so it's kind of obvious this isn't a phishing scam. I might download it some time when I want a new addon just to try it.
