Goldstrum, Shut.the fuck.up and get.the fuck.OUT!
All you've been doing is complain about your miserable life is and how lame you are.
Powerhouse took the time to make your life easier, and pretty much all you do is spit him in the face. It doesn't ask for your
--password
--social security number
--bank info
or any kind of other fucking password or sensitive information.
Now either you state your point, which is plain shit and useless anyway, or you just shut the fuck up and leave.
And Powerhouse. You did a good job making it easier to manage addons. I like it, good job. Trolls only complain about your program because they have no fucking clue how to make something useful like this one.
6000 lines of code?
Bullshit.
Although I haven't used this, I find that it would probably be useful because of all the shit I have in my addons folder.
I think Goldstrum has left the building... I mean thread
Anyway, good work on those 6,000 lines of code you worked so hard on to make this program
I hope you now enjoy having a small holiday and maybe a large, chocolate-chip cookie
for all your hard work
Poor OP, all the trolls are making people think that this is fake!
I agree with you, Dlaor, they think its not legit and that it will give your steam details to PowerHouse, when actually it will allow people to use 1 or all of the 50 non-svn addons it will put into the garrysmod addon folder.
So you fucking trolls can shove ya stupid head up ya arse and get the fuck out of these forums.
Anyway, PowerHouse, you will get that giant cookie I mentioned earlier, and you've earned that holiday I also mentioned.
I'll see you lot next time I post
I'm getting this please some one help:

Try updating or reinstalling Tortoise SVN, that fixed it for me. I had a shitty old version.
Try updating or reinstalling Tortoise SVN, that fixed it for me. I had a shitty old version.
Is there anyway of just pressing a button and it updates, or do I have to delete my old one and get a new one?

Well, I'm pretty sure I did it wrong, but I downloaded the new version from the site, then reinstalled it. It deleted the old version on its own and shit, but it was pretty long winded.

Well with svns, wiremod especially, some updates require the user to remove and reinstall the whole folder for it to work properly. So I made the program just remove the old one and install a fresh one to prevent conflicts. This process may take a bit, depending on your computer speed.

Judging by the looks of that pic, I would say that your garrysmod directory is not in the default location.
At this time, the G-Programs won't work for non-default directories. :(
But, I do have a solution I am finishing up, and hope to include this in the next release.
What would be the default location look like?
What would be the default location look like?
Default Steam directory: c:\programfiles\steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod (assuming its 32 bit from the pic)
Honestly, how can the file be malicious if so many people have tried it, and haven't reported any viruses. Someone reported an error, but it was quickly resolved. Before accusing someone of something, you have to have proof to back up your claim.

woops too late
Default Steam directory: c:\programfiles\steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod (assuming its 32 bit from the pic)
IF you just created that directory with the nem you put in the program it should work for that fake directory witch you could cut and paste to your proper gmod location.
This would also work if you didnt want to use your real steam name.
For example:
[C:\program files\steam\steamapps\A\garrysmod/garrysmod/addons]
This would probably work for the username 'A' and then the contense in the addons folder could be moved to your actually installation directory.

I could also see thsi problem being caused by not useing your steam logon and instead useing your Nickname. But thats just from looking at the error message; i would hope you would know to use your game directory name (ie. steam logon name). Then again, this program was half-geared tward helping thouse who have no clue what there doing, either way it works for the general population without major errors.

The new revision ended at 9,460 exactly. I shit you not.
You know you don't have much to do when you intently try to torment a random person on the internet, when he posts useful applications "goldstrum"... Your accusations were quite harsh and rushed, don't jump to conclusions.
Myself along with several other PowerKrew members tested these programs vigorously for several hours in total, It was difficult and time consuming and we didn't even make the programs.
Its a bit late, but I just wanted to get my opinion out, I was one of the main testers wile Power was making these programs.
Thats strange, ar you useing windows? the XCOPY is one of the basic console commands.
Ah, I must have broken my environmental variables when I set up JDK, It works fine now.
The new revision ended at 9,460 exactly. I shit you not.
Proof please.
Your code is severely inflated if you've reached ~10K lines of code and don't even have an interface.
Your code is severely inflated if you've reached ~10K lines of code and don't even have an interface.
Exactly.
Exactly.

These are crap, why the hell make CLI programs for this? And why is it news worthy? There are way better programs out there.
This is what you posted on garrysmod.com Then you come in here asking for my source. HA!
Also, show me three of the programs previously made, that are WAAY better.
I'm done acknowledging anything else you to say. My programs work, and people use them. Your rude insults are pointless.
I owe you nothing for proof. Use it or get the fuck out.
Feature ideas:
Auto-detection as much as possible for garrysmod install. You can find the install location of steam through a registry key, and a simple process of elimination can net you the account or possible accounts, and you can fall back on to manual enter if the key can't be read.
Support for the user to manage a list of addons themselves.
Support for garrysmod.org downloads
An interface.
This is the best program for Gmod EVER!! In the usual 15 minutes of finding, downloading, and moving addons to garrysmod folder, now the time magically shrinked to 2 minutes!!! Hell 2 minutes, maybe 30 seconds! And it really doesn't needs your Steam username. The program is fast, reliable and most of all EASY TO USE! Power dedicated time for his program, he shares it with us, and we all must thank him!
Thank you PowerHouse for this program, i was searching LS2 and RD2 for AGES!!

Well shit, that makes it all worth while. For me, one good thanks, is worth 100 of the "I hate you for spending time helping me." posts.
Program is going good so far, just finishing up with the G-Addon. :waycool:
Worked perfectly, thank you Powerhouse, this was a very useful tool after the recent reinstall.

Your argument is pointless and invalid. GTFO troll.
You should probably work on a GUI, most idiots seem incapable of using a CLI interface to save their lives, and will probably start screaming "OMG VIRUS" again. Plus, a good GUI makes all the difference :v:

I really want to know how a fucking CLI app takes 10k lines of code to write, it sounds like a load of shit.

Well if you REALLY wanted to know, perhaps you should have re-examined your comments and posts.
Being rude will get you nothing.
