That's it, don't read the guide I gave you!
Thanks. EDIT: Link's weren't popping up for me had to adjust firewall settings.
Guys, when CAF loads LS3 I get some stupid LUA error among the lines of "attempt to compare nil with number!" And it just goes on and on... It's a Timer Error.
That's Life Support 2, not 3. That's where your error is coming from...
Oh. Ok, I'm just gonna delete LS2...
It worked, thanks.
I'm amazed. What's the first point in my troubleshooting section?
I'm amazed. What's the first point in my troubleshooting section?
Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me! I know! So mingebags could completely ignore it and ask the same questions over and over again?
Anyone else falling through the props when you stand on them? It only happens to unfrozen props but suddenly my props -- every second or so -- become immaterial and I fall right through them. This is making SB unplayable. EDIT: This error may also be the result of SBMP A2, I'm trying to figure out which.
You're not right-clicking with the NoCollide tool, are you? Also, you (we) need to see what addons you have installed.
No, I'm not right-click nocolliding. I've been playing for a couple of years, I don't make that mistake -- well, not often anyway. :P Addons... long list but not much that changes physics, I'll go ahead and post it all anyway. Highlighted addons are ones I suspect to be a possible culprit. You might note I highlighted Spacebuild Model Pack as well; I believe they might also be to blame (as these errors are encountered frequently with their props) but I can't even begin to guess why simple props -- not even entities -- could do this. Though, honestly, either one might do it. The effects are not only limited to their props, however, as I can duplicate this with PHX props too. My next step is going to be one-by-one disabling but that might take a while, so I'll see if anyone here has a similar issue as well.
the svn page isn't working...it said something about dns?

So SB3 uses custom models?
How is this gamemode doing? Current status of development, people's views of it, etc. I'm too lazy to find out any other way, for example reading. I want to get back into spacebuild but I don't want to waste time downloading it if it's still beta (i.e. not possible to actually have any fun).

It's up to you if you like the new system or if you want to say "SB3 sucks, the system is pure crap and SB2 is much better" (As all the stupid flamers...). As in it is still beta, you should not expect that everything is perfect, but the most stuff is already working very well. You might find the one or other bug for sure. However, the system is improved, you got the choice between some models, so I'd test it.

is there a way to disable the need for life support in this one? life support sucked all the fun out of this gamemode for me. it was only useful for realism (which i dont care about) and trading, but nobody trades because they can just make their own edit: i'd like to just be able to focus on building my ship and flying around exploring rather than making sure that it's big enough for life support stuff and that the life support things won't slow it down to a crawl. edit: there was an addon that did this but it was shit, it lagged the fuck out of everything and brought your fps down to like 10 edit: and i know quite a few people feel the same way
CAF isn't useless. Go into your settings and just turn off LS. Or go into sandbox on a spacebuild map. It really isn't difficult, plus, it was already gone over in an eariler page. Also, yes, there are custom models... You should be able to tell that by looking at any LS picture...
...Or go into sandbox on a spacebuild map...
So If i do go sandbox in spacebuild, I would still float in zero-g with no LS needed?

SB2 and DarkRP etc are successes because they have no custom models.
So If i do go sandbox in spacebuild, I would still float in zero-g with no LS needed?
You won't need LS, but there will be gravity in space. So, no zero-g unfortunately.

You should run a server, any good server has a downloading system set up with relatively few files to download. (Darkland, Noxious, Sassilization)
I have SB2, but my question is: how do i get that little box at the bottom of my screen which tells me how many Oxygen and stuff there is on a planet and in space? I downloaded SB3, and I had the same problem there (also I didnt have any models (cockpits and so on)). Can someone please explain me step-by-step which downloads I need and what to do? Thanks alot
Never mind I already found it...
I have a problem. You know the air/coolant/Etc. box that appears in the water, right? Well, This happens. On every map.
Take out ls2
