One question about the Life Support Entities SVN: Do we need the spawn lists for those props? I don't see why they are needed since it just spawns the regular props and not the entities themselves.

Glad to see this coming along, but make sure it's as stable as LS2, and less laggy. That wire-disappearing-and-ents-disappearing-with-it bug was a constant staple for lag, keep workin hard mate, we're looking forward to your next revolution in spacebuild gaming!
Err, Snake, I have a very strange bug. For some reason, stuff like sola panels, etc. generate ENERGY (the G has a funky appendage to it), but stuff like Oxygen Compressors use Energy. It's not a joke: this is the way it is listed in storage devices and nodes, causing energy-using stuff to not recognize that resource. I looked into the code but didn't found any all-capital references to Energy. What is going on? It worked perfectly half a minute ago! [B]EDIT:[/B] Restarted GMod, now it works... for the time being... [B]EDIT2:[/B] Anyone can suggest a good SB3 map? I can't find any.

Err, that map works with SB3 too? AWESOME!!! (It's SB1, but I managed to trick it into starting on SB2)
Or you could ask Snake for a map specification :p, lol.
Why don't ragdolls float in space?

There is a waporize effect for AR3 secondary fire kill. You begin to float and dematerialize if you are hit by a combineball.
For some reason I'm not getting any storage devices or generators. Under the regular tools menu there is a "tool" for receptacles and another that says generators or something. But the tools don't really do anything. Nothing pops up in the box on the right. I've got LS3 LSE RD3 CAF SB3 and all that jazz. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
For some reason, the Orange Box engine doesn't like disabling gravity on ragdolls, even server-side. It is possible to give a ragdoll no gravity with the gravity tool, but you have to apply it to each individual part (head, upper torso, lower torso, etc.). Jinto's Physics Module successfully disables gravity on ragdolls, as well. Somebody NEEDS to make vehicles and ragdolls have no gravity in space in SB3, because it ruins any immersion factor pretty badly. It's definitely possible, but nobody's gotten around to it yet. ):
I've got a problem. When I try to link any two LS3 systems, it says that it is an 'invalid combination'. Is there any way I can fix this?

In layman's terms, spawn a node then connect everything to IT. Oh, and everything can only be connected to one node at once: if you link something to another, it will be disconnected from the first. We are currently running SB2 with CDS for the resource based weapons. We run a win 2003 server Intel Xeon L5310 @1.60x8 (duel quad core) w/8gigs ram. Everything on the server works great HOWEVER after 30 minutes of running when someone joins the server it crashes it. Fire Deamon wont even start it back up I have to go into the CP and manual reboot when this happens. I have removed assmod and ULX from the server (running each one at different times just for testing the crash) but those do not seem to be the issue. We run only basic needed mods for our server (wire, LS, RD, gcombat08, tiberium and harvester, CDS, gas and oil mod). I have tried removing tiberium and CDS but we still get the crashes if someone joins 30 minutes into the game. I did some research and most of what people tell me to try I already have and it did not work. Sooo we tried SB3. Really nice works great blah blah blah, HOWEVER. I noticed the old form of CDS wont work at all so we tried the new Custom Damage Systems (which I will refer to as CDS2) but same thing. Now I am not sure if we are missing something or its just not finished yet but we SVN custom damage systems and as it SVNs you can see files such as CDS munitions, weapons and what have you. HOWEVER when we get in the game the ONLY thing there is for CDS2 is 2 little testing things that do nothing to offer CDS weapons based of supplys of any kind. Here is my question. Are we missing something with the new CDS2, is it still in testing and just had nothing to offer beyond damage to props? Is there a way to get the old form of CDS working with SB3 so that we might have resource based weapons? OR is there a way to get the SB2 to stop crashing 30 minutes into the game when someone joins? I understand you can use the weapons from gcombat and SB3 but I want a recourse based weapon. This way people have to limit the amount of weapons they are able to use due to dependancy on resources. I also understand I can limit the amount of types of weapons they can use thru gcombat as well as SB but again I am trying to get a resource based weapon to work with SB3 such as CDS weapons and munitions. Also the spaceshield and muti sensor would be nice to be able to use in SB3 as well. I found a space shield but its not the same one thats in CDS and I cant find a armor/health prop sensor stool anywhere. I understand you can make one with wire but I REALLY liked the easy to use one that came in CDS. So just to recap. CDS WITH working resources based weapons, shields and prop sensors + SB3 = what I want OR CDS + SB2 + no more crashing when people join = AWESOME!!! If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. For now im back to the drawling board...
HEY HEY, I fixed the problem but now on to another one lol. People lag like ass in our server when a ship that is any bigger then a fighter starts to move around. EVERYONES ping spikes up into the 250's. I am thinking it could have something to do with the rates or something like that. Sooo does anyone have good rates to use for Spacebuild or sugest anything that might bring down the lag when big ships move around. Just for the record we are hosting off an Intell 1.6x8 (8 core) with 8 gigs of ram on a OC 128 backbone connection so I know it has nothing to do with the power of the server we run. Also I checked my systems resources while the lag was going on and the whole machine was running at around 12% and thats with 2 other gmod servers and 2 ZPS servers running at the same time. So again it has nothing to do with the machine its self. Any help one rates to use to reduce the lag or any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We all have high pings when something big as ship starts to move. Gmod is physics sandbox game, and the realism gmod provides lags like hell.
Alright avatar set to my guilds logo and just for the record at least I would hope you could tell from my posts, I am FAR from either lazy or a child lol. Now maybe I can get a straight answer on some rates to use on our spacebuild server? :)

I would like to help, but i really don't see any other advice besides using purely SB3 (and everythig else xx3).

I have an odd error with some models, I know that this is still in beta (I think) but when I open the tab with the large elevator props in GMod crashes, this may not be the right place but can somebody at least explain why this hapens and how to fix it, the error is just that HL2.exe crashed. The error said something about memory that canot be read, the error wouldn't let me change program to note down the addresses, but I think there's a corrupt model in there, I redownloaded it but it didn't help, sorry if this has been mentioned before
