Reinstalling isn't only needed for people who install addons in the wrong place. It can be usefull for other problems to.
1. Junk downloaded from servers (there could be like 50 maps, models, materials in your gmod folder that you'll never use again). This one is more personal preference though.
2. Cached lua files. Even though they are usefull, somethimes files in there can cause issues with newer versions of a certain addon/gamemode you have. (they are located in the cache/dua folder). Removing these every now and then helps to fix various issues already.
On another note. Even though svn is a good way to get stuff, there seems to be a very slim chance that somethimes it makes mistakes to (by merging incorrectly, not updating files like it should and so on). This last can usualy be fixed by keeping your svn client up to date though.

If there is ever one thing I've ever thought bad about Spacebuild it is the usual unavoidable lagg when you look at a ship with spammed caches, gens, etc... but unless someone knows how to pull a CCP (see [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CCP_hf]creators of eve online[/url]) lagg reduction won't be miraculously reduced untill Soon™.

1.IT IS AN ADDON, use sandbox.
2.Add a tag with SB3 and/or CAF. I'm not familiar with dedicated server hosting, so you'll have to figure it out yourself.

I fear this is an incredibly foolish question, but is Spacebuild 3 required for Life Support 3 and Resource Distribution 3 to work? I know those two are very much required for SB3, but does that work the other way around?
And for an even more stupid question, does the Spacebuild Enhancement project (SBMP) require Spacebuild 3?
