The simple ways like variables can be fixed fairly quickly by seth, but by using the source code you can see some very intresting ways to detect this.
I can see a couple where he'd have to remove some major features to make it undetectable now.

Well he would have to pay for it I guess, but if he is a minor then obviously he can't.
But no, user created content such as lua scripts aren't copyrighted by Garry (TOS really needs to be changed regarding that, Valve have copyright on files created with their tools so why can't Garry have it for Lua scripts for GMod, it would prevent so much dumb shit) which is why dickheads can sell gamemodes.
