Another update from Garrys Blog. http://www.garry.tv/?p=1515
O.o Ooh a patch.
Fixed now for me, I just got a BSoD on gm_construct while blowing up 6 explosive barrels that have the neon material.
Oh looks like steam updated gmod again. It says it, -Fixed menu items sometimes not working after yesterday's update -Fixed gravity gun crash Ima go try it out. Rofl @ nightpanther Edit 10 minutes later: wire/client/toolscreen.lua:23: attempt to call upvalue '_ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) Yup still got that error. Oh well, should get fixed soon anyhooo.
i got this when using the toolgun autorun/E2toolscreen.lua:123: attempt to call upvalue 'ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) please help me!!!
You need to wait for the wiremod team to fix it. Great having vanilla GMod.
Yeah, thanks for laughing. Anyway, it is fixed and I made a cute wallpaper so lets party like its ninnyninny 9!
All I have are the annoying errors and the ugly text. I'm on a 64 bit, too.
I'm on a x64, will launch and see if I have problems on Vanilla GMod. Update: Got the different font. No other problems.
I've been avoiding gmod and using php. Anyone see a problem on this line? mysql_query("INSERT INTO `login` (`RIGHTS`, `USER`, `PASS`, `EMAIL`) VALUES ('1', " . $User . ", ".$Pass.", ".$Email.")");
All the files from the GCF somehow winded up in my garrysmod folder. And it happens every time I boot up the game.
I cant pick up any multiplayer servers, any suggestions?
update 74 is here!!!!!! please somebody say me if that fix the errors,i am lazy YOU HEAR THAT, UPDATE 74!!!!!!
Edit: Tool gun error still exist, but garry isnt going to fix it, instead he told the wiremod team how to fix it. As for my climate regulator problem, i'm an idiot, and was running in sandbox, not spacebuild..
Shouldn't they really test these things before releasing them? Lol, think of this as an easy way to get the Bad Scripter achievement! The bad scripter being Garry.
Well the new update fucked up all my sweps and the tool issue thing. Along with using the mic for me.
Getting the latest wire SVN should fix it. I'm updating it as we speak. ...Well as I type i guess :/ Ill post again if it's fixed. The wiremod svn log mentioned the toolgun/lua/blah/aawdawdaw so im guessing they repaired it. [EDIT]: GARRY'S MOD IS FIXED. Just restart steam and get the latest gmod update, AND Update your wire SVN. If you don't have wire SVN you are a lazy bastard, so here http://www.wiremod.com/forum/wiremod-general-chat/6349-super-easy-wire-download.html Super easy guys, come on. I got it this way and had no problems.
It seems Garry also changed how backgrounds are handled, that or the update overwrote my old background. I also noticed the Garry "G" is gone, anyone else getting that?
gm_construct is screwing with me. When moving around, even in noclip - it feels like im lagging. This is on singleplayer, with no props spawned, and seems to be the only map effected. Scratch that, its all maps.
I'm just going to re-create the toolgun VGUI function myself for my server, I can't be bothered updating Wiremod and pressuring all of my regulars to do the same just so we don't get spammed.

Everything works good.
I got the different font and I get this error message when I take out my toolgun, autorun/E2toolscreen.lua:123: attempt to call upvalue 'ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) from what I've read, it's wire related, no?
I got the different font and I get this error message when I take out my toolgun, autorun/E2toolscreen.lua:123: attempt to call upvalue 'ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) from what I've read, it's wire related, no?
Did you even read the thread?
Did you even read the thread?
No. I did not.

Wiremod and Gmod doesn't exit properly which forces me to CTRL + ALT + DEL and close the process (and I have noticed it's been using a full GB of ram.
About the wire/client/toolscreen.lua:23: attempt to call upvalue '_ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) error Im assuming that basically 90% of people that use wiremod (some other addons to of course) are having this issue. Garry does not need to worry about this as he is not responsible for addon issues..thats why its called an "addon" although it would be nice if he could. He doesnt. So we just have to wait until wiremod team makes it compatible again...OR wait till Garry does something about this which I doubt he will. So GG all see you all in a month or 2 :P.
Okay, I have been CONSTANTLY seeing that same client/tools blah blah thing on my garrysmod, and so has my friend when I play at his house, but just today it wiped out all of my tools. I could not use anything and now my whole GMOD is fucked up, which is saddening because I had a machinima going on, what the fuck is going on?
It all looks good for me except for the tool gun lua errors issue! By the way when can we expect a fix or a new update because my screen is kinda small and when the errors pop up it takes up like 1/5 of my screen.
