I've never had TortoiseSVN before. I downloaded SVN 1.6.1 and when I restart my computer, right click, I don't see the SVN checkout thing.
I tried 3 times and still nothing. Can you help me please?
Man why don't you just read and follow the tutorial? ;-) I think SVN 1.6.1 is a server and not a client! You would need it only if you had a svn repository and want people to download things from your server. Get Tortoise and watch the Divran's video ;)
I told you - xcopy /d does exactly this! ;) run xcopy /? and you will see
Oh yeah :downs: I keep forgetting about XCopy.
nice video tutorial Divran and a great tip with that right click export, but I did not really get why did you update the PHX3 and then cancelled it :-]
I cancelled it because I already had it so I did not need to download it twice.
but if you do an update it downloads only differences so I thought you will show that, so you confused me by that a little...
I hope this helped you. If you still don't get it, you can add me to Friends and I can guide you through it in real time through Steam chat instead. (Unless you live on the other side of the world, so that you're asleep when I'm awake and the other way around :P)

Aww :)

I tried installing SVN 1.6.0 and it still didn't work.
I ended up getting SmartSVN and everything is working now, no thanks to anyone.

I tried TortoiseSVN 1.6.1 - didn't work. Un-installed 1.6.1 and installed TortoiseSVN 1.6.0 - still didn't work.

You sure you were installing the right version for you operating system?
what if you install something like winrar or winzip? Do you have new commands in context menu for files and folders or not? :)

I have winrar installed. I can see both the winrar options and the SVN options. Just look in the video, you can see it there. (Time: 0.40)
Okay, Well, everything worked out Perfectly..However, i just put in SBMP2 and PHX3 in, they worked.
But that was yesterday, a couple of hours i encountered this serious issue, since i wanted to update my Wiremod i got this URL from this thread https://svn.wiremod.com/svn/wiremod I used it, But it asked for authentication and like asking for a username and password.Like specifically its layed out like this:
<https://wiremod.com:443>Subversion Repositories
Requests a username and password
Username:
Password:
<--- with this Save authentication check box where my arrow is.
for the love of god and all that is holy, please reply...

The username and password is anon/anon or anonsvn/anonsvn. Type that, then tick the box to save authentication and click OK
