Yeah, I can tell by his unique grammar and spelling mistakes.
And the fact he is the ONLY person in the history of this thread to complain shortly after a bump.
I do not get it why can't i have my say here without being called someone else? [editline]09:47PM[/editline] Are there any other svn links or are the ones in this thread all?

[editline]09:47PM[/editline] Are there any other svn links or are the ones in this thread all?
There are links in step 5. Edit: It also says "Useful SVN links", not "All SVN links". In step 5 it also says "Scroll down for some useful svn links (but not all of them!)". At the bottom of the thread it also says "Let me know if you want me to add any more SVN links to this list".

Allright. One full week has passed now, so it is time to bump it again. (Matt wild, gtfo.)
Another week.
Do you know if the Spacebuild Model Pack SVN is up-to-date? I SVN'd it (I know that I exported it right), and yet, a bunch of my Space Build Adv. Dupes are missing props. This didn't happen when I got a copy off the .org Besides this, I've had no problems with SVN's or Tortoise.

FishFace60 has written a script which can fix your dupes for you. Just type SBEP_FixAllDupes into the console.
Bump... Mat wild Go to Hell everyone is better off with your ban!! Nice thread by the way exporting FTW
6 days have passed. Bump :D
Just a quick question: From what I've seen with SVN, it seems to have an extreme lapse in security; as in, someone can just upload stuff to the SVN and everyone gets whatever it is they uploaded. Is there anything to be worried about?
Rarely, developers are usually trustworthy and to gain access to the commit function you need to have the developer password and username. The only possible threat is if one of them goes insane and uploads a nasty, but then if it's a real virus your AntiVirus will catch it.
Do we know the password for PHX3? It's not anon or anonsvn.
I don't think there is a password for PHX3.
Sorry - I was using import instead of checkout!
Good very nice!
I asked in a help and support thread (albeit it was someone else's), but no answer. I'll ask here since you bump it every week :-P Does export MOVE the files? Or does it just COPY?
Copies, but excludes the .svn files and folders.
Copies, but excludes the .svn files and folders.
This.
Copies, but excludes the .svn files and folders.
Damn, I lack the disk space needed to do that. Oh well, guess I'm stuck co'ing to the Addons folder.
:( then i try to install tortoise svn i get error message "This installation package could not be opened" so i downloaded SmartSVN but it dont have export command :(
:( then i try to install tortoise svn i get error message "This installation package could not be opened" so i downloaded SmartSVN but it dont have export command :(
Make sure you're downloading the correct installer file from TSVN's site. If you're unsure of which one to use, take the 32 bit one. [editline]01:51PM[/editline]
Damn, I lack the disk space needed to do that.
What?! Holy shit. You'd better clean your HDD.
Still wouldn't work. 30GB drive ftl.
Still wouldn't work. 30GB drive ftl.
I have a 30GB too, a fast one, solid state. But I also have a normal one with 230 GB. I don't fill my drive with crap like music and downloaded movies, so I'm at a steady 95 GB used space. Edit: Slightly off topic here...
The thing that is taking most of my space is the games I have installed.
Buy another hard drive then. You can get a 500 GB one for less than 600 swe kr (Use google, type "600 SEK in *your currency here*" to see how much that is.)

And I found something of similar size for $50. And I've been told "buy a new HD" 600 times now. I understand I need a new HD, I just can't pull the money out of my ass for it.
hmm, so with SVN continuously updating massive and important mods like PHX, WIRE, ect ect ect, will this make Garrymod.org obsolete? like in say 4 months if PHX-4 comes out will a pack be availible on Garrysmod.org or will it be SVN exclusive? cuz PHX and Wire and Resource Distribution is actually useful unlike most of the crap in gmod.org. so my question is will that just take a crap on Gmod.org's existance? This also seems like a nice way to spread viruses if one of the developers goes off the deep end. i think ill stick with gmod.org untill no new versions of PHX are uploaded to gmod.org

But some things are only available on Gmod.org, like smartsnap.
This also seems like a nice way to spread viruses if one of the developers goes off the deep end.
Except that they won't.
i think ill stick with gmod.org untill no new versions of PHX are uploaded to gmod.org
Why? There are like 200 new props in the SVN that aren't on Gmod.org. Rails, rollercoaster tracks, and such.
The reason PHX3 and Wire aren't on gmod.org is because they aren't actually finished yet. If and when the developers announce a new version, then they most likely will upload it, until then SVN is the best way to get them.
