You have to create those cfg files you fuctard
Auto config is blank by default captain obvious.

make a new text document in notepad. save it there as server.cfg. it works.

I need help with something. I have everything working except one thing. In my config file, I have sbox_noclip 0 and in ULX noclip is at 0. The user group in my ULX can't noclip but when I press v after I restart the server and as superadmin it says Noclip allowed! and allows me to noclip, but I wan't this off. There isn't a problem in Sandbox mode.

Well i managed to create my own server with my 50mbit connection thx to this.
We already added custom stuff / jobs / entities
Extras like leveling up drugplants, leaderboards etc.

Ok. I did everything he said and now Im confused. How do I actually get the server up and running to where I see my server name on the server list on GMod? I opened the console thingy on my desktop of my server then opened GMod and didnt see my server. Wht to do???

I'm not trying to flame or troll, this is just me being honest.

If you can't figure out how to run your own server without getting your hand held the entire way, you probably shouldn't even host one, it'll probably fail within weeks like most new dark-RP servers.

Me? I figured it out way back in HL1 while using horrendously outdated software that breaks more often than you breathe, learning along the way using half-done Google tutorials and outdated broken software is all part of the experience.
