it is late in the uk now im sure gary fixed the problem long ago he has to wait on it being verified and uploaded which wont be till tommorow...its 10:06pm right now so go find something else to do...
You know the update that caused this problem was released about 18 hours ago
True, and one time Gmod has been down for 24 hours, and I was patient towards that.
Also, it's not Garry's fault as has been said. Are any of you who are complaining fixing it? No, it's Garry who fixes it. So stop bitching.
I want Garry to read my posts when I stand up for him, IT'S NOT GARRY'S FAULT GUYS IF YOU COMPLAIN ILL FIND YOUR HOUSE AND KILL YOU.
On Mac I can report it just dosent load. No Error.
I want Garry to read my posts when I stand up for him, IT'S NOT GARRY'S FAULT GUYS IF YOU COMPLAIN ILL FIND YOUR HOUSE AND KILL YOU.
Your sarcasm is not wanted or appreciated.
Your sarcasm is not wanted or appreciated.
Sorry, let me jump on the bandwagon and just say it's not Garry's fault
Sorry, let me jump on the bandwagon and just say it's not Garry's fault
*bandwagon breaks* Sorry, there were already too many people on that.
*bandwagon breaks* Sorry, there were already too many people on that.
Have a box
Have any of you tried launching it directly from the folder? The hl2 executable? I get this error: The procedure entry point ?IsThreadRunning@CThread@@MAE_NXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library tier0.dll. Weird. EDIT: This isn't from steam. Launch it directly from C: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\<user>\garrysmod
But what of those people that only have GMod? ( Don't ask me why they would only have GMod... )
You can't only have Gmod. It relies on the content from other source games.

Garry Newman ‏@garrynewman Ok - I got it compiling and running fine as far as I can tell. A few checks and I will send it off to Valve. https://twitter.com/garrynewman
This is why I hate it when source engine updates break Garry's Mod. Not because I have to wait to play, but because every time this happens, A: There are a thousand threads about it, B: People argue when this happens (over pointless shit like whose fault it is, and who has or doesn't have a life because they want to play a game, or the fact that Garry/Valve are taking too long to do their job (they have lives too you know)) or C: A combination of both. Please, stop arguing, and just wait. It'll come when it comes. Do something else in the meantime.

hashtag sure doesn't like this thread
hashtag sure doesn't like this thread
Guy's annoying.
hashtag sure doesn't like this thread
He is the alt of ziminvader so anything that he said was dumb was also done by Hashtag/zim. Just ignore him.
Now we wait for valve to get the update live.....

https://twitter.com/garrynewman
You literally just made the exact same post as the person above you, how short of an attention span do you have? Sorry, it's not directly above you, it's like five or six posts above, but it's still on this page.
I'm sorry I don't see everything...
You literally just made the exact same post as the person above you, how short of an attention span do you have?
But I posted this from the front page. And yes my attention span is short.
I think the update is coming soon, i've noticed some changes when i click play in the steam thing. Now it says game unavailable, so that means that an update will be here soon
You literally just made the exact same post as the person above you, how short of an attention span do you have?
I'm going to guess very, very short.
God I screwed up i thought you guys were talking to me...
:(
Dammit Team Garry, you should actually test your f**king updates before you publish it and screw up our Garry's Mod *Grabs gun, finds Team Garry's hideout*
it's located just outside of mu- *shot*
Now, I fully hate this thread now. Can't you idiots wait longer or atleast leave gmod opened every single time (updates or not) without closing it? Ever heard about your PC having hibernate or sleep function?
We have nothing better to do. It's the internet, get used to it.
