My first Garry's Mod experience was at a local computer gaming outlet. It was my friends birthday, and for gift one of my other friends mom purchased us all three hours of game time there.
I spent my time playing Half-Life 2, and while browsing through the game list I noticed a thing called Garry's Mod 8.
I clicked it, and I went total apeshit. I spawned a wheel, tossed some balloons on it. Fun shit.
Then I had to go, and the place closed down shortly after Valve went crazy over something that I can't remember now.
Anyways, about a year later I ran into Gmod 9. My friend told me to purchase the Half-Life 2 GOTY pack if I want to play some matches with him, since Gmod 9 needed the content.
From that day, I was in a land of epicness. Then I got word that Gmod 10 was coming out, and around April of 2008 I bought it.
When I first got it, I had no clue about using the numpad and I just threw things around. When I found out how to use the numpad, I put thrusters on things and I stood on them until I died.
I remeber when I got Gmod11. Bout a month ago as a late bday present. I was so obsessed with gmod before I got it that I watched so many videos on youtube that I knew how to do pretty much everything!
The first thing I did was color the white room in gm_construct green, then I made a pose of Alyx and Mossman doing a 69 with Barney and Breen having their hand in a fist on their crotch and paint under them.
Good times....
First thing I ever did was.....
Attached balloons to random stuff. Just spawn, fly away, spawn, fly away...
I used to use the NAIL tool more than the WELD tool and would type noclip everytime I wanted to noclip
i remember my first time on gmod making catapulta bathtub cars that never drove the right way
i went out forgot to save it i was like damn though somone in my family svaed it and built an awesome for
i remeber that they when found this game (garry's mod 4or 6).it was 2004 or 5 i dont remeber the date.
i got wild,mad,ensame,crazy,nuts.
i started to show this game to my freands,
they all got ensame of this game two.i & my freands Started to Learn The game and to be the game :D.
we made ower own Clan or team, i dont remeber, but it was calld:

all the members of the team started to join up on LAN server .
we all got mad to see each other on the game.
we started to creacting wild stuff i dont remeber what it was but it was somthing extreamly cool.
but i remeber we had Fort Battles,Zombie Survival,npc Battles
now Almost All my freands got board of this. only 4 of my freands Playng gmod 9.0.4c.
they sayd they like the Classic Version more then the New one
I got Garry's Mod on 2006. I was so confused when I first went to single player. XD

It all happened one day when one of my friend started talking about how his dad got a game called half-life 2, and he told me all about it's story line and crap. So I was searching half-life 2 in the search and stumbled upon The Idiots Of Garry's Mod. Me and my friends went BONKERS over it! It wasn't until about 3 months later that I finally got HL2 and Gmod v7. My cousin was over at the time so we threw ragdolls, attached balloons to crap, welded, spawning crap. This continued for about 3 weeks until I decided to buy Gmod 10. I downloaded HUGE amounts of crap from gmod.org like raveball, nukes, "Admin Sweps" But then I realized that half of the models and sweps didn't work! It was about another 3 moths until I got CSS, Finally joined Facepunch, and discovered online play. And here I am today!
I think the first version i played was version 6, back in 2005?
My first one was gmod 10.
Aah, yes, I didn't know much about it before I got it.. Everyone on my steam friends list was playing it and always asked me to join and I had to say "sorry, don't have gmod". I knew that it was a hl2 mod that you could mess around in, and that was basicaly it. Then a friend of mine bought it for me as a birthday present (over steam) and I've been playing it ever since. Now, it's my favourite steam game and I play it all the time.
Garrys mod is best 10$ i ever spend First time i played it around 5 hourd ! lolz
I got Gmod 10, then I launched it. And then I spawned Kleiner and I fell of my chair because I was laughing really hard after thrown him a car.

I really loved that vid. I got very interested in GMod. I then got retail CSS (with bunch of other shit). Then GMod 9. It was incredible, but (ofcourse) I wished to get GMod 10. Dad's credit card wasn't accepted, so I had to stick with GMod9. I remember one guy was teaching me building cars, and that was awesome. I then came up with an idea of making a server, where people would have houses, buy stuff, live their virtual lives, etc...
So when I got GMod 10, the first map was gm_flatgrass. I minged around, built stuff.
Then, I tried multiplayer. I freaked out about tons of servers, compared to 7 in GMod 9. The first server's map was gm_construct. It had no protection at all. There was something built, and I physgunned it a little. It spazzed out. People were screaming at me. Banned. Nice first experience, eh?
Then I found RP servers. I was like: Fuck. I forgot about having a server.
Well, that's pretty much it.

Well. I got Garry's Mod 10 sometime in late 06 or early 07...it was a great time in my gaming life. It was one of the early version's of Gmod 10...Good times.
GMod 9 for me. My friend showed me the game and taught me how to play over LAN at my house. It was quite fun, even back in the old days when I was using a completely shitty computer and didn't even have my own..
I started with gmod 9.0.4. I think I was browsing the free mods in steam browser, and I noticed a picture of Gman holding a deagle. I was like, "Woah! Gman can attack in this game!" and I downloaded it, and really enjoyed it.
lol my 1st version was the standalone. my friend told me bout it but i didnt know there was an online, and not luaretarded version and about 3 hrs later i bought the real thing.standalone sucks. the first thign i did was download about 50 different addons and go batshit.my fav was the minigun! i would go all BRRRZZZZZZT and kill hundreds of npcs!!!
I first saw gmod 10 and I fell in love with game and I got it after gmod 13 was released.
Since then I had a dream of becoming good builder.
And dream came true and I will never stop playing it.
12/10 game.
Found out about Garry's Mod in 2011 but I couldn't run it until I built a new PC in 2013
