Fallout 3 RP - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

Ok we really need a good LUA coder to help us. basically all we need if for a derma box to open up when the player joins the server that has a selection of player models for the player to choose from. It has to auto load when they join as well. We already have the models, so its ok.

Im making a Vault 101(i will expand it to a wasteland) but for now its just vault 101 idk if u want to use it to combine it with another map but if our clan <:VM:> can get rights to edit it (not calling it our own of course) iv be happy to let you use it/edit it!

I would like to be a Beta tester, I have always liked to RP and I loved The Fallout Universe! :D I have spent the past hour looking for models to help out but I have found nothing of use so far that has not been posted yet. Get back to me if you need something(I suck at coding so any other than that.).

Iv done all i can, Execute has disapeard hes been gone for weeks so i cant do anything more untill he comes back, so making of this gamemode is paused untill he returns at an unknown time.

well if u guys are done with it id like to pick up where u left off what did execute do?

He took models from Fallout 3 and put them into gmod for us to use. Im not done with it when he comes back i will carry on coding it.

well i can do that in fact i am doing that so i can get a better look at them for my vault map if u want to pm me what u need i can get em(assuming u have fallout 3 of course) or else it wouldn't be legal to send u them lol

Sounds great I would love to join you. I have found a few servers with Fallout RP but I have large errors floating about my head. I have been unable thus far to find what mods I am lacking. I obviously have Fallout 3 installed as well as the Fallout 3 model pack.

You need a seperate model pack that you obviously don't have, the models do not come straight from F3 and cannot, because it is not a game based on the same engine as Garry's Mod.

Editing TacoScript or KuroScript isn't so easy for some people, and while I know as well if not more than you how much CakeScript (and LemonadeScript, because LemonadeScript is just CakeScript) can be modified, some people prefer working with gamemodes such as DarkRP. I say, all the more power to you Uber. I hope any community you may create in the future thrives. Good luck.

I hope it's not dead. They're just waiting for more models from someone. I hope they get them soon... I've been lacking some good rp for a long time now.

Instead of removing the Mayor class, or making it President, you could make it Vault Overseer, or have multiple mayor types for different towns.

Well, if I'm correct, there is a "FalloutRP" server running gm_atomic, but I don't think it's this.
