If you are planning on making your server popular and making money, I would choose darkrp. Generally new Perp servers don't get any attention.

I can see what you're saying but I always looked at phys gun and grav gun as a replacement for lack of hands... we can't really grab anything (until gmod 13 comes out or if you code it in yourself) and it really helps for building and posing which IMO is a big part of DarkRP. TBH I think you should keep it if you plan on getting rid of it/have already gotten rid of it.
Oh and when/if your server is up.... send me the IP adress i'd love to join... I haven't found a good DarkRP (actually any RP) server in a long time.
