How the hell you guys expect this to get off the ground when your maps clearly lack details and / or a proper theme is beyond me. You said it was going to be a hotel, but from what I can see, it looks more like an aircraft hanger.
god you guys are so overly critical. how many of you are actually on the GMT team? if you're not, then you can't say a single thing about this being similar, or it being bad. They've obviously just started, and it's in no way ready to be compared to a gamemode that's been in months/years[?] of development. Clearly, the map is in it's beginning stages, therefore, hasn't been filled, so it doesn't look like a hotel, the way you guys are judging their map is insane because it's in it's early stages. How about instead of jumping the boat and criticizing everyone for making something, weather or not it's similar to something already created, you just let them work on it. If it ends up being good and people play it, then that's that. If not, then whatever, it disappears. You should encourage people anyway, so long as they aren't looking at the code from GMT, maybe the coders just want practice, and wanted to try to think of some ways to make the GMT stuff? And because they didn't want the work to go to waste, they decided to also make new features of their own and release it?

You shouldn't, especially since most people here have probably never made anything before. It really just makes people seem dumb, and gives facepunch a bad reputation. There is a reason why a large amount of gmod players don't use facepunch.
