heh, well i know its not much but after reading like... 4 pages of you guys getting spammed, just wanna say that i support this game mode :P i never actually played GMT but comparing what people said about it to the ideas you guys had, it seems like its just a major incident of coincidence. Two groups having the same ideas for similar projects. Anyway, it'd really never be a copy, and they can't say it is one. It doesn't exist yet / hasn't been released, so people can't prove that that's the direction you're taking it. Not to mention, even if the base idea is a copy, or just really similar, the two game modes will end up being different, at least I'd hope so. unless you updated it every time they updated GMT and added in their new features. lol Yeah, ik i said i read 4 pages, didn't wanna keep reading after that. It was getting quite repetitive.

Really and truly, DarkRP is an acceptable gamemode, it has just been exploited by it's popularity to the point where originality is no more. For my gamemode, I don't use DarkRP as the gamemode, but as the base gamemode. From then, I have done some [i]serious[/i] editing to the point where it's not DarkRP anymore, but more of the "sandbox" of my gamemode. I find no reason to completely create a new RP gamemode base when DarkRP does everything I need just fine.

I think it's more along the lines of a warning, judging by the way it's phrased. An hour to think of what he was told, yeah.

One hour bans are mostly useless, unless the member is online. The point is a warning.
GMod Tower is a shitstorm of various gamemodes. I say shitstorm just because I like the way it sounds.
If they can make a shitstorm of various [i]other[/i] gamemodes, then all they're doing is the old lobby concept, which is slowly becoming the new dead horse to beat (Although, don't get me wrong, certain gamemodes would fail without them).
No offense to NonExistent but i think your logo should be original and represent you gamemode, not look cheap and like it was made in 5 minutes, If you plan on making this gamemode for the community to enjoy, Listen, to the community otherwise most likely no one will play it. Well that's what i think anyway.

Instead of doing what Gmod Tower id doing, try taking the lobby idea and building OTHER ideas from there.
Maybe merge with a community with many servers, and make it a chat lobby. So after a good game, you can come to the lobby, talk about it, and think about the next game.
Or, make it into just a virtual chatroom to meet new people. 3D Omegle. You start in the lobby, and then walk into a room that can hold a certain amount of people, and chat.
There are many more like the Gay Space idea. Be creative.
