As far as i am concerned this is the coolest thing to hit Garry's mod
First off, I love your mod Shanjaq, It's all I play now. The real reason I'm posting though is because, I've recently been working on a rather large spaceship. The spaceship would be finished by now if the game didn't keep on crashing, the crash happens when I'm welding everything together, my ship consists of about 150 props or so. Any one know why, or even better know how to fix the problem? Also the tool I'm using to weld is the Smart Welder.

Maybe your computer doesn't like all of the props colliding. Try bigger pieces. :D
Better yet, go grab the PHX model packs if you don't have them. They're great for building anything.

I did use the PHX model packs and some very large pieces as well. The ship is about the size of the moon if not even bigger.
It might be the sheer size of it...
Also, are you using smart welder?
Yes, I am using the Smart Welder as I mentioned on my post earlier. Is there something wrong with the smart welder?

Um, I may have downloaded a wrong version or something, but I think I can't access all of the environment things - I can only access a small air exchanger that shows up as a suit dispenser, a suit dispenser, and a large air exchanger. Same with the other two things. I'll redownload to make sure, but I think there's an error with it :P.
Edit: My bad. Reinstalled and it worked to perfection.

Make sure you've started in the SpaceBuild gamemode, if you're hosting dedicated use "sv_defaultgamemode spacebuild" in the command line.

Got a bit of a problem. Spacebuild worked fine for me until I patched.Now there's gravity in space and no environmental effects. Any idea how to fix?

No i mean I downloaded the spacebuild patch.
did you patch from the first release to V2b, or did you patch from V2 to V2b? It won't work in the former case, and also requires Life Support 1.4b. Are you hosting a Listen or Dedicated server? In the case of Dedicated, use "sv_defaultgamemode spacebuild".
It's a listen server. I'm trying to update from the original spacebuild to the newest version (not sure what version numbers). Also I have the updated life support mod.
I think it might also be helpful to add that for some odd reason, the oxygen meter depletes when I'm under water, but not in space. So I know that I did in fact put it in spacebuild game mode.
Hey I was wondering if anyone had read/ knows of anything of my previous post. It was the one about using a stool to make props have gravity. Thanks for any help!

Something fucxced up, there's air in space and the life suport won't work right.
I'm not sure if this was already mentoined, but temperature in space is around 13-14K, not 0K. That's terrible mistake.

Now I know what happened. I start Spacebuild v2b with LF 14b. I looked at space; everything was right, then I shot somewhere with toolgun and the sky turned white, the planets turned gray, even earth. Aaargh! How disappointing! :(
Is there going to be fix to this bug?

And you made SURE you set the game mode to "Space Build"?
I redownload gmod and I redownload the lifesupport but it's missing almost everything can I please have a version that has everything included?

You need to start on the SPACE BUILD game mode!
Type this in the console:
[code]sv_defaultgamemode spacebuild[/code]
It shuts off heat stuff because otherwise it wouldn't make any sense.

I have the air and some generators but no coolant of heat or probs or suit things... I'm missing alot :(
