Since people have lately started to grow bored with the current map, I figure I've released at about the perfect time. Once again, a thanks to Shanjaq for pretty much everything.

For the people that want to spice up their spacebuild sessions a little i suggest you to visit [url]http://www.eve-online.com/download/music/[/url] and (legally) download some tracks of EVE. (Spacebuild trailer uses "Below the Asteroids") It really gives you a 'space' feeling while exploring planets :D.
Would it perhaps be possible to modify the sunburn to occur when you have LOS to the actual sun? I assume you could get the angles of the env_sun and use those to control the tracelines, or whatever you used for determining if you're sheltered. Might make things more interesting if you could use hills as shade.
How do I get this to install correctly? I downloaded it and put it into maps, but when i try to connect to a server on gm_spacebuild_v2 it says I am missing the map. And to be frank it's really starting to annoy me.
It's not a map, it's a gamemode.

When can we expect an update? Some features I might suggest are: More planets (Imaginary ones) More detailed planets, Like some tunnels etc, or a small city on earth (but still room to build) Extra small Air/Heat exchangers for the little fighters! Destroyable air tanks etc (for battles) but make them toggleable by the admin. And maybe food supply's? like you have to eat to live! A jetpack with unlimited fuel but slowish movement (for moving around outside of ship) A small version of life support device (the all in one thing) And medium sized tanks and cells! I've suggested too much :D Edit: Disagree? How can you disagree with everything i said?

[/QUOTE] If Navck and I get permission, we have modded Life Support 1.6 to include many sizes of storage tanks, generators, and exchangers. We also added in a hydroponics bay for use in space/underwater to generate air, and another power source, though I am working on a few more.

Shanjaq for the next version could you add support for the map to automatically spawn life support? One of my planets is not habitable but I want a way to have a house or base that has built in life support! Or maybe a storage room with air tanks for the journey home. Also I am planning to do a petrol station on earth that gives you all the resources you will need. Also my spacebuild map to does not work with solar panels! Is it the way I set up the env_sun?
Just thought I would bring up my laser / shield idea again, for all those that don't read back more than a page or so. Please make a stool that is based off malawar's launcher. It would fire an oblong laser sent that would disintegrate the first 3 props it touches, like the combine ball. This number could be changed, of course. Perhaps it could be made to change in relation to the weight of the prop being zapped. But I digress. And shields of multiple shapes that block / absorb / make the lasers bounce off. It could use a certain amount of power when sitting idle, and spike when hit. Perhaps just have a small prop as a projector, so as to not ruin your cool ship design?

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but spacebuild just spontaneously stoppped working for me. I can't join other servers or my game crashes. Most of the time I can't even join my own. And it's starting to spam the console with errors... Any ideas how to fix this?
It's always fun to have indigenous creatures inhabit planets (Blast Spores, Antlions, maybe sometimes Striders and Antlion Guards) and lead a team of space marines to wipe'em out. Except the blast spores. They're always so cute we just have to poke them and explode violently.
When I turn the air compressor on, it immediatly shuts off, why does this happen?
I had an idea. Someone made a mod that makes realistic planetary gravity. Why not do that with the planets here as well? If we made planet's gravity pull inward then we would have the entire surface of the planet to build on, rather than just a flat plane in it's midsection. This should be possible, since you've made gravity plating that pulls down in what ever direction is 'down' to it. If I'm wrong just let me know, but if I'm not, imagine how much extra space we would have... [b]Edit:[/b] Could we make it so that you are pulled down towards the planet? So even if you were on the bottom it would still be like you were on the top? I know someone made an mod like that, with props. Is there any way to do that here? Maybe use the gravity plating code? Anyway, hopefully this time it won't remove my post. (if I ended up double posting I'll remove it myself)
I just had to post this, it's a savegame of an unmanned space vehicle with an atmosphere probe that will seek out the planet you target and crash-land. At the moment, you have to use a locator, but I intend to make it "remember" the position of an RPG that you fired at the planet's surface. This way, you don't have to cheat a locator beacon on the planet surface. Just shoot a marker at the planet and release the probe. I tried taking the mod out of my G mod folder but the weapons are still gone. I looked in my Addons folder and my weapons files are still there but they are missing in game! please advise me on what to do. I posted a thread on "help and Support" so if anyone has any answers check there. and if you know what to do and help me, thanks.
