Taco and Banana used to be alright, then it turned into total bullshit. For the first couple of months when I discovered it, the Half life 2 Rp was pretty boring, up until you actually grouped up with people who weren't all "Combinez are oppressing meeee ;-;". But after awhile it turned horrendously boring. Its not really the admins that suck, some of them do, but that's to be expected. Its just that EVERY SINGLE HUMAN FUCKING BEING IS A COCK SUCKER NOW! Ever actually go to their official forums? They practically nazi you into doing what they want. One guy named Carnage at the TnB forums does nothing but drop to his ass and throw a hissy fit at everything he doesn't like. You can't have a peppy, energetic hobo that lives in the slums, that would be too original. Instead all you go is a bunch of power-tripping CP cunt buckets who whine about how much the citizens suck, and Citizens who do nothing but sit around and bitch about the combine, its practically one giant glorified 3d chat room, or a wall facing, being arrested simulator. And god forbid you go to the Terminator RP, instead of doing what I did with the Hl2rp server I'll just list off what totally fucking sucks about TRP. 1. Admins contradict each other: I had a character that lived out in the sewers, and after I led a few lost tech comms back to base (they where obviously retarded.), I made my way back to my awesome sewer home, but on the way back a admin just straight out Event PK'd me without letting me Rp it. saying OH GOD ITS MINGY TO NOT BE IN THE TRENCHES AND TALKING ABOUT HOW SCARED WE ARE, GOD HELP US JESUS CHRIST. The next day I was told that it was allowed as long as a T player didn't catch me and un-Pk'd me, Good team work, nut huggers. 2. The female admins suck: They do, its not sexist its the flat out truth. They throw fits when things aren't 100% exactly to their liking, they only make events for a small group of friends, and will PK approve anything as long as their friends caused the PK. They suck, they're assholes, they're douche bags, they just plain old suck. 3. A retarded 3 year old gets more stuff done than Tech-comm: Tech-comm is incompetant, except for the one dude that RP's John Connor, they can't do anything right. Most of TC complains about how much everyone outside of TC sucks. Guess what fuck-face, those un-armed people running around do more for the base than you do, you gun trotting pussy. I've seen normal people on the server fix broken equipment, plan search and rescue missions for rooms that collapsed on itself, feed children with food they made/found, and care for wounded and sick people. Which leads me to the 4th problem with this cluster fuck of suck. 4. We aren't refugees, tater-dick: A refugee or "displaced person" is a person forced to flee from their native land due to forced migration. Most Rpers in the Rp where born after judgement day, and even if they weren't they where at the TC bases long enough. We aren't fleeing from anything, we fucking LIVE in those bases. Stop fucking calling us refugees you retard. 5. No resistance mentality: They treat the TC more like a organized UN regulated Army than a actual resistance force. I understand that giving everyone a weapon would be stupid, but how come we aren't considered resistance unless we have a kevlar vest and a gun that will slightly annoy the Terminator we are shooting at. I remember good ol John saying "If you are listening, you are the resistance.". If they aren't armed and in that case aren't a complete waste of space. Assign them to do something. Set up sand bags, dig trenches, anything. 6. You will not get anywhere by Rping: Unless you are a Admin, a admins friend, or a friend of a admins friend. You will not get anywhere. And they always make stupid fucking characters too. Like a 14 year old girl in tech comm who for some reason is more qualified to be armed than that one hunter who can take your head off with a rifle from 600 yards. And yeah, its 2029, most people should be pretty good with firearms by now. 7. They force emotions on you: Sure we're supposed to be afraid of T's, everyone would be, but its not mind crippling, pants wetting terror. For fuck sakes its 2029, that's a pretty long time since judgment day. We would be pretty used to Arnie by now. Theres alot more horseshit on that server but thats all I felt like listing off. Tl;DR version: wait awhile until the community gets their shit together.
