Looks interesting. The NPC conversation things look pretty good too. Will each NPC use this system? And will each minor NPC just reel off some random crap depending on the area you are in like in Fallout?
I'd be interested in testing this if you needed anyone else, but the fact I'd have to sign up on yet ANOTHER forum, puts me off.
Does it matter? You have to give us info on the test one way or another.
We've started beta testing the game. We've already got a few testers that have been a great help finding all those nasty bugs. If anyone is interested in helping out, you can apply on our forum (link on first page).
Our mapper team has decided to start over on the map, so there won't be any news from them for a while. If anyone would like to help map, they need some more experienced mappers. It's a pretty big project. :)
We're temporarily using csc_desert for testing until we can get a map created. Vault should have this "home" feel. Right now it sucks ass as you can't just say "This is home, you leave so be sad about it" if it doesn't actually look like home, which it doesn't.
You should have more models and stuff like:

Love the script. Hate the map. Also I'd try and stray away from the storyline of Fallout 3. Allow people to create their own story in the wastes. Give them the choice to start somewhere other than the vault.
Once you leave the vault, you can do whatever you want. :-P Join the Brother of Steel, Enclave, Raiders, etc. Mass murder or help the poor/needy.

The gamemode looks great - so great that I'm a little afraid FalloutMod 2 won't be able to compare :(
Although, please tell me that it was an accident naming the videos "Fallout Mod". While obviously I don't like the idea of my gamemode's name being taken (even if it's a crappy name for a crappy gamemode) I'm more concerned about confusion between the two.

Personally I feel that the gamemodes will likely be different enough that we don't have to compete, as this comment suggests. My hope is that in the end we will have productions different enough that they can both stand on their own without being directly comparable - one will be apples, one will be oranges. No doubt everyone will pick a favorite (personally I like oranges over apples) but both will have their place.
Just so it's clear, FalloutMod (and it's coming sequel) was/isn't designed to replicate Fallout 3, like this is. It was meant to be a unique creation with it's own storyline and gameplay elements. With this in mind I hope we can achieve a mutual respect of one another and avoid any distaste spawned by similar concepts. (I know that I for one would very much like to spend some free time playing this)

I really couldn't agree with this more. Maybe when creating your character, you could choose a "race" such as Vault Dweller, Wastelander, or Ghoul; that comes with bonus attributes I.E. Ghouls have immunity to radiation (If you plan on implementing this), or that Wastelanders are more apt with guns.
Also in the video, factions were mentioned; could a reputation system be added to this?

Yes but I can assume most of the community will interpret it as fallout 3 remake.

Yea and they fired me because I asked for a copy of the finished gamemode, I don't even want it now, at least with airslide he gave copies to his friends.

Roleplay world, I looked at your map and I shit myself silly. It sucked, Everything that was supposed to be a func_detail was normal meaning the 100000 things he cut with the cutting tool where all being compiled by the source engine and creating its on visleaf of some bullshit like that. Also there were nodraw textures, No area_portal windows or areaportals, There were leakings in the skybox. HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A BLOCK AROUND THE MAP? The displacements made me shit bricks and the map is the messiest thing I've ever seen.
