I can run it 70fps on my laptop. Dell XPS m1530. :3: Infact, I don't even use my desktop anymore. It just sits around. My laptop supersedes it in every way.

Macbook pros and higher end custom laptops run crysis with no problem

For the record, the laptop that had those pictures taken on it: 1.4ghz Intel M processor 32mb Onboard DX7 video card ( can play UT2003/Postal 2 :O ) 1gb of RAM And a 40gb HD Running XP SP2 Plays all source games before EP2 perfectly fine, and can function as a pretty good dedicated server in a pinch as long as I hook it up to a landline rather than use the wireless. Compaq Evo N620c with wireless card installed and RAM upgrade, pretty much. The machine is 5 years old ( nearly 6 ) and designed to run Windows 2000, but has a XP serial taped to the bottom :confused:.

I play gmod on my laptop (that's a year old) with very high texture and high model detail, but I put everything else on low.

I can play Gmod on my laptop with everything on highest detail, bloom, hdr and sunbeams, at 30 FPS. Then again, my laptop has a TURBO ENGINE attached to it, so yeah, it's kind of a special case. This thing can run CRYSIS. The bad news is, it has a mobile graphics card, so if someone uses a certain type of thruster effect, it drops to 5 FPS

i got GMOD on full everythanggg not the best laptop either dell inspiron 6400 dual core (not core 2) 1.6 1gigs ram ati mobility radeon x1400 radeon omega drivers seriously, not an amazing laptop but still able to run gmod on full with fps around 50 - 60 average depending on map

I bet if I had XP installed rather than Vista, it would run faster.

Luckily for me i have an alienware laptop that cost me 4000 dollars that can play Crysis on max. SO WHATEVER

I can run everything on highest graphics. And it like...doesn't even lag at all. This laptop is also 3 years old.

The only people who buy alienware are people with more money than sense who can't be fucked looking for a better deal. [b]EDIT:[/b]LOL my friend has an $6000 alienware laptop he got like a year ago and my laptop that I got for $2000 gets the same fps as it and better in some games. Was 4,000 dollars and if you get the same FPS he got a shit one :D I use it 4 hours a day at least, school work, homework, i also play TF2, Crysis warhead, Far cry 2, Bioshock, Oblivion and morrowind and soon to be fallout 3. Play them all on max.

Lol It's just because his one is a year old and mine is leet :) I'm not saying they are bad, they look awesome :D the only bad thing about them is the extreme overpricing and apparently their crappy tech support.

I have a friend that uses his laptop to play CS:S and GMod, runs really well.

I do NOT use my laptop for coding because windows Vista has fucking retarded saving. :v:

Intel 2.00Ghz Dual-Core, 3Gbytes RAM, nVidia 8400M GS videocard. I can play GMod at 70+FPS on gm_flatgrass (50-60 on other maps and 20-40 on spacebuild maps), with everything turned up to full -except- antialiasing.
