I'd like to see a SNPC that isn't just a different model pasted onto a combine soldier.
I want to see SNPC's that somebody actually coded some form of AI for.
Like automatic pathfinding that doesn't rely on map's node graph. Or maybe communication between squad members, so that if one SNPC sees you, he notifies the others that you are there.
One could also use influence maps to predict where a player might be and where he can't be, given where he was seen last. This could lead to more or less intelligent "hunting" or "search" behavior for when the player is hiding.
