Aww man, I was hoping you actually RELEASED it...cause it's not there anymore, or it's been removed.
It was released at some point but then it was changed to Phoenix-Community format with global high scores enabled and runs across 3 Phoenix servers.

Guys, this gamemode has been custom built to only work on our servers, the ips I will post later, I'm at school right now.
The gamemode of the servers is an advance version of this old one, i guess ([url]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=62690[/url]). Servers are not up anymore then why not realease the last version of this gamemode? nobody care
i put the hoverskate gamemode i gamemodes and hoverscate conent pack in addons and the fix too.i start the game ans suprise only 1 hoverboard how to fix this i'm realy angry

Not true at all, you can go here and check out some hoverskate high scores of forum users as well as have direct connect links to the 3 servers

The old HS gamemode is unsupported as our community runs on a newer and better version, and people keep spreading the old gamemode to garrysmod.org and other file sites ILLEGALLY. If you are spreading hoverskate gamemode to other people you are in violation of copyright law.
But to answer the 2nd part of your question, you only START with one board, you have to get more points to get better boards.
But on that note, HoverSkate 2 is in development right now and will feature a skate shop where you can use any board and upgrade its stats, and lots more features.

I can respect the desire to be part of a community that isn't FP, but private gamemodes are what is really killing garrysmod because it trickles down to the average user having to go to other servers to have the most fun, which is inherently wrong in my opinion. If HS1 is out of date, no longer maintained or ran on your servers ( which is what I got out of your post ), why not release it, as long as PC Camp is fine with it ( or is that the core, he doesn't want people re-uploading his stuff? ), for people to enjoy and get an idea of what the gamemode in development is like?
All-in-all, I find private gamemodes morally wrong and fairly self-defeating, but that's just my opinion. Cheers.

The original HS is old and far outdated, we run a modified HS1 which runs on my module that allows global save vars and lots of other features so releasing the HS code we use on our 3 servers is entirely pointless as no one else would be able to run it.
I've given up on having garry remove all the HS (old) uploads because quite frankly it's old and shitty compared to what we have.
So yea, there's no way we can release any of the gamemodes we're making as they run on a base code along with a module that provides interaction between the game servers and our forums which provides global stats no matter what server in the world.

hello I am from phoenix-community and we have decided to take down the download of this gamemode, we aren't going to be releasing and and we would appreciate it if you don't reupload it. I will list the IP (as soon as our servers stop being DDoSed) of the servers because I can't contact PCcamp to edit the original post.
We have updated this gamemode a lot since this was posted, we are now working on a real life roleplay gamemode and Hoverskate 2 with loads of new models.
When-o-when will there be support for Inliners?
the thing is that only one out of the 3 phoenix community server has a gd map and most of the time is full so either let us download the gamemode or add more spaces in the servers or use new maps (by the way the gd map im talkin about is hb_skatepark, the others suck)
i have an issue withit, im not sure if one of my mods are conflicting with it but whenever im on a board i get a mirrord version of myself only without arms and a head either next to me or behind me. do you know wy this is? has this happened to anyone else?
Uhhh, why don't i get credit for beta testing. I was there a dozen times when it was still only the homemade board.
