Springmoss Revived - Garry's Mod

I could possibly use the level as a basic level for stamina? how long you can run. Etc, i'm not sure, not sure i'll even keep it, was just something i wanted to try out.

Way to steal my hud layout :P Nah it's all good. But why a level and exp system, It's not needed in RP?

lol, i wasn't really sure what i could do with it, but i have a feeling it will come in handy somehow along the lines of jobs, i've gone 39 hours without sleep, im going to bed for a couple hours then back to work on this, we have like 3-4 feet of snow outside, so i'm stuck to springmoss for a while :P

A suggestion for a gun is a Double barrelled and/or a Springfield M1903. Also a revolver of some sort. Perhaps a Colt M1911. Also this is having good progress, keep it up!

I've looked around at your topics, seen your maps, and on more than one occasion, people claim they are ripped, and you told one man that you were being inspired by his work, I can't have Springmoss being inspired by another map, this is going to be original content, map, idea. I am working on making every detail original. And although you may be an okay mapper, I won't require your services. Another thing, that really didn't sell me..You told me you'll start mapping for Springmoss in 2 weeks or so, because you have other responsibilities, i don't want that. If you can't put this number 1 priority, you need to finish things first, i can't wait for 2 weeks for someone to start. Then saying it will take a minimum of 4 months to complete. First of all, I'd like to say [B]sorry[/B] for what I said in the previous thread towards you and the other guy. You are doing great, I really admire your work. I would love to re-create the same, but for one.. it is out of my ability, which is limited. Multiple servers connected with teleportation, how are you going to do this? It would be hard if you wanted it to be realistic but if you do it simple I guess it would be just as good. Say the left side of the black line is [Server #1] and the right is [Server #2]. Where would car end up on [Server #2]? Positions marked as 1 and 2, 1 for advanced, 2 for simple. [IMG]http://i48.tinypic.com/124e9dz.png[/IMG] Doing it the advanced way would be very hard and very time consuming, it would be easier and more simplistic for future additions to do it the simple way (2). Long realistic driving.. I presume you mean the map(s) have a lot of space for driving, and of course the teleportation system will expand on this, I presume it will put one in there car if they was to cross servers in a car? Postal office and mailing? Sweet. Will you be able to mail something (not just "text") and can you mail something to a offline player and they receive a message saying for example: 'Go to the postal office to collect your mail' when they next come on. Also the item is sent back to the owner after so much in-game days due to the player not coming online. I like the produce harvesting part, alot of RP servers that are not HL2RP are revolved around drugs and illegal stuff to earn money. There should be a variation, and maybe the player could sell their produce to a NPC at a shop or something and they do not always buy produce (they have enough stock sometimes). Or would you be making your own, if I was you, I wouldn't recreate a module that is already there. I like the various ways of taking items around, it gives the user more experiences and options. The banking system is also very nice, maybe gain interest and the rate varies? I'm loving your updates, the billboards, the guns and more. I'm also glad you got a experienced mapper on hand. Reformatted, backed up springmoss, as well as my entire steam on my second hard drive, Important things also, Going to work on getting everything setup tonight, back to work in the morning. I have started the inventory, haven't gotten too far. But it will get there. Right now im on my macbook, watching a movie then ill hop over and finish stuff up, development will be back on track in the morning.
