What I played was just an account creation screen pretty much, it was [i]epic[/i] though. It didn't save anything and once you made the account there was nothing to do.

Yea everything is there, It's just not 'linked' So there is no gameplay as such, If you know what to type into console you would see alot of the stuff that is implemented but not linked yet, Glad you liked it though, Thanks mate.
Bad news, I can only get the hammer, or the arms to be ingame at one time. If I try to get them both in together, the hammer movement effects the arm in weird ways.... It might take a bit to find a solution.

Now, I know it doesn't look great, it is not textured, and it is too far in front of you, but this is the culmination of many, many hours of work (not including the modeling or UV mapping, which is not even working yet xD)

From the pictures I can assume a character creation/SQL database. But will it save things like weapons/ammunition within the weapon, like Nexus does? ... Don't get me wrong I don't want this to be like Nexus its just Nexus utilizes the SQL Database very well and we might as well try and use its techniques, if not make them better.

Single character game not multiple, It saves weapons/ammo/inventory/stats/cash/achievements/factions/materials and pretty much everything to MySQL using andyvincents mysqloo so stats can be viewed from a webpage.
Alot of gamemodes used sql before nexus and will continue to use them after nexus.

Sounds fantastic, also good choice on the "One Character" I got tired of people making multiple characters just to get money or something... Plus it makes sense with Anarchy to have 1 character.

How frequently? It already saves only when it needs to.
Hey i just got a new server that can run up to 30 slots with no lag. i think your gamemode has a very high potential and would love to hast it as a testing gamemode on my server, it can be private or public server and canb be up 24/7 so you can make changes, if your intersted in this contact me on steam.

Averice, sorry to bug you again, but I need some arms... I am using the hl2 suit arms right now, but I assume you don't want those for the sweps. I don't want to get the swep finished, and realise you want diff arms xD

Yes but that has nothing to do with how frequently it updates.. You just use the same database with each server.

#1: Making it so that bases can be adv. duplicated once they are built within the server. Disallowing the "Upload" and "Download" functions on Adv Duplicator. This would make it so that people could still save their stuff, its just they would have to have built it in the server already.
#2: Wearable Accessories, basically just little things that you can pickup/find that you could wear. It would have to use some techniques that are used in PAC Hatmaker, but it would be preset. For example, finding a cigarette or pair of glasses and then wearing them.
#3: Weapons that you can holster! Worshipper did a great job at doing this, unfortunately the new HoldTypes broke it. Hopefully we'll see some remakes or fixes.
These ideas are probably either already being made or are being done in a different way. As far as Idea #2 goes, its just to make each player more unique and customizable.

Thanks for the suggestions.
#1: No Adv.Duplicator in this at all, Bases are [b]models[/b] that you can walk inside of and such, you select your base type when making it. You can also create 'add ons' to your bases like turret systems and weapon factories for your faction.
#2: This is a maybe, I already have the system written up from one of my previous gamemodes, but I am yet to decide if I'm going to use it or not.
#3: It will be toggle-able, and yes all achievement ideas are welcome.

All right to start off lets continue with the base idea however there is a seat in the base that only the faction leader can get in it. When he gets into it he immediately goes into a RTS mode ,or Real Time Strategy mode where he/she floats above the base. When he's up there he can make addons to the base such as walls, firearms factory E.c.t. He could also order workers to a different location to work, fight E.c.t, and when he orders them a marker shows up in their HUD and only when they the location it's removed.
That's all there is to it. Simple and easy.

Uhh... A bit creative I guess. Its just how would the faction leader get killed and also this would probably have to be something that is researched/an advancement. Also, the infantry of the faction could easily ignore the faction leader's orders [I](free will of Online Gaming)[/I]. As for the RTS side of it, its creative like I said but I don't think it would fit too well with the way that the game is going to be played? Maybe instead you just look at a blueprint/console screen to setup walls to customize the base. [I]*deep thought emerges*[/I] :raise:
