Just sounds like hl2 deathmatch, I highly doubt there will be much RP to it, just killing and if not then why call it RP?
Edit: Well on seconds thoughts there probably would be, I can just see alot of people not RPing it out, just treating it as a deathmatch.

Hey I have a few suggestions:
What if there was one gundealer in the center piece of turf that sold discounted guns and much better guns but only to the owners of that turf out of intimidation.
Police could bribe gundealers to find out who he sold guns to, incriminating certain gangs and gathering info on what kind of firepower they have before attacking (The center gundealer would be trustworthy and unbribable making him an important asset)
Drugs could be stealable but you would have to hold use for like 60 seconds for them to become yours, meaning you would have to take them to your base first so you aren't shot up in the process. This would also be useful for inheriting drugs from said area. And to stop people from getting cash from drugs un-found in anothers turf they wouldn't get cash from drugs unless they were in their area.
Also this might be difficult but would be cool if the style of an area changed depending on who owned it with like Posters, gang signs, grafitti, chinatown style for the yakuza etc.

ok this looks good but 60 seconds is a bit to long, you should half that. with that idea in mind you guys could make the police a playable character (if thats already been put down don't flame or troll me, i couldn't be asked to read the entire thread)
and nextly for everybody that wants to RP properly you could have a citizen option and you could sell drugs to them, such as having a drug dealers not assigned to any particular gang but can still sell to them.
this gamemode will win =D
Ugh, is there a need to even use the RP handler here? Just stay Gang Wars, it not only sounds better, but it sounds hypocritical when you clearly said "fuck roleplay" on the OP.

Hmmm, updates. WEEEELLL, I basically stopped coding GMod, because I got a MacBook and I hate windows. But, Chewgum is currently (I hope) working on this, I'm gonna try chasing it up, if nothing I might do a little more work on it, to get a super-early BETA up.
As for civilians, making them run without nodes is damn near impossible, unless I just make them run into walls and shit, which I might, who knows!
