I can't get CCRPM to work, because I get spammed with console errors saying something about it trying to do arithmetic on a nil value, so my jobs don't work, money doesn't work, the entities don't appear...
I don't understand why, it's version 1.12, it seems to work for everybody else.
Conna (or anyone else) would you please upload version 1.13 onto gmod.org or something? I can't download from that VS-HS site :(.

This Gamemode went from Community Created Roleplay Mod to Conna Created Roleplay Mod.
If you say Community Created then why not take some suggestions from the [i]community[/i]?

If it's Community Created, then how about you (part of the community) add the stuff YOU want, with your OWN time, instead of asking someone else to do it! Make your OWN sents and gamemode modules!

You don't have to put in dumb/useless features, if someones idea sucks then just ignore it, only put in good stuff.
My one still doesn't work. When I change my job from the default one, nothing happens, and I still get the console errors saying that it couldn't think in some line or another, and it's trying to do arithmetic on a nil base value. My money doesn't change, and unless I delete the file in data/CCRPM/CVARS I can't do anything next time I play.
Your gamemode think function is borked in the newest release.
Would you consider making a feature like when you die you turn into a ghost type model for a certain ammount of time and can walk around but that's all you can do?
Conna it's a top notch gamemode and definitaly don't stop working on it :)
Most these suggestions people are making will turn it into a disgusting RPG but as it is a community created roleplay you should add a couple of the features that for some retarded reason these people want and put them in as modules. You could add a boolean in the module that askes if you want it enabled and when the main script checks the modules just make it check if the module is enabled so that way it can be easly turned off and on by changing the variable.
I think a job system is not really critical unless you are apart of a large community with demands with such needs. Adding a job feature like that on a standalone script with no devoted server is just simply unnecessary. A standalone server with a script that adds extra features to the 'job' system would be too much clutter in such a small space. While a large community server with regulars, and much more needs than a small server/community.
This is what conna was trying to get rid of (so it seems) was the excess clutter that will DESTROY the role play and add too much dependence on the script. A job restriction system, restrict paychecks from certain jobs. Like Citizen, Unemployed, profane job titles, and stupid/un-needed/minge-like job titles.

hey i have an idear on how to make the Tranquilize gun on light rp you can be knocked out for a little while why not just make a swep whitch triggers that thing and knocks the player out and only make it for the police

That's just pointless. People will just spawn random things, and place in the pod to get a weapon or item. It's a useless feature that will degrade the quality of a roleplay.

I have installed version 1.13 on my dedicated, but I am having some troubles.
Users do not have any cash. When you set your job or group, they do not show in the status bar at the top, and you do not collect any wages.
I am also seeing the following errors in my console:

It appears that there is definitely some problems, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Any thoughts?
Edit: I reverted to a fresh Garrysmod install and had the same result. I also switched back to version 1.12 and it got rid of most of the errors. I am still receiving a THINK error all the time. Also, the status bar at the top does not show any cash, job, group, wages, etc when you change them.
There should be two types of groups, ones with team affiliations/colors, and ones with more covert things... Like, the same things that a regular group has, except for the blatant indication of their team. Also, built in, changeable, standard issue equipment for teams.
I'd love the police to get back... We need some sort of admin police... They don't necessarily need arrest sticks, but they'd need a door ram (I actually made on, just because I got pissed :D... It's on garrysmod.org.). And some sort of a gun (I made CP and OW, with CP having smg1 and OW having ar2.).
Anyway, I guess that's up to the server admin to decide - it doesn't have to be default!
Yeah, this mods broken for me. Awaiting a fix.
The mod is broken for everyone it seems. Sadly I think Conna may have given up on it.
