Havok doesn't put up with that kind of poop, complex physics interactions on larger scales than ~20 objects is way out of its leauge.
Actualy, Theres a new version of Havok (Havok vers. 9.6) And it makes very very very very (This could take up to a while to get to the point, because its true :D) very very very, ect. small particials. It may not work on most PC's but if money isnt an issue, you can buy a new version of Havok for your Source and you might be able to get a very good PC to handle such a thing. But yes, Havok has been putting up with that "poop" for about a year now :D
there is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ef2lIbtuSPI Which I suppose is enough to call gmod water physics.

Way to go. :downsbravo: [editline]11:38AM[/editline]
there is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ef2lIbtuSPI Which I suppose is enough to call gmod water physics.
Same goes for you. [del]This thing was created 3 years after this discussion ended.[/del] edit: Wait no, I was assuming you'd posted the link to the dynamic water plugin. The addon you actually linked to is from 2007 as well, and was discussed in this very thread. hnnngh I don't know whether to rate you late or bad reading or dumb
From what I hear from 90% of people. Source engine is absolute bullshit. This can't be true though because Garry surely would have changed it.
That post made no sense at all.
I don't care what arguments people have, source is by far the best engine I have seen, I can't list all the reasons here, but name a single thing you can't make it do that other physics engines can. the only reason it doesn't do it is cause they havn't programed it in. You can bash source up with guinea pigs and it will still run, hell, look at how Gmod rapes it to get what it wants. It still has excelent physics, the way you make maps for it is an extrememly easy to grasp concept etc etc...
