Any good UK/Europe server hosting recommendations? I am with daemon servers at the moment, which I would utterly recommend for anything really. But it does get quite laggy on my 16 slot Spacebuild when there is spaghetti ships everywhere flying around.
Dunno if a new server host would help with this, but I would like to give it a try.

It'll get laggy on Spacebuild with any provider. Ever since the OB engine update on Garry's Mod some years ago large spacebuild servers have been nearly impossible to host.
You can tweak some settings (like splitpacket) which does tend to help on build servers, but you're still going to run into issues here and there.
Best way to find out would be to ask the host what your CPU usage is hovering at - if it's not that high, you can tweak settings to reduce lag - if it is high, the only choice you have is to lower slots, lower tickrate or get a more powerful CPU.

I see, thought it wouldn't help. Server CPU usage doesn't seem that high. What settings would you recommend I tweak?

To be honest, very little will help bar the splitpacket method darksoul69 already mentioned.
Lowering the tickrate (if possible) might also be a decent idea.
For the "final" version of ships, I would recommend that you find a parenting stool, as parented props are infinitely better in terms of performance compared to welded ones.

If this still works, it's probably the best bet out there for spacebuild -

I found that PPW was never really that great for moving contraptions.

Ah, really? That sucks.
Don't tell him that; he'll start posting just to post.
I've already seen the thread.
What server hosts do you guys recommend for Garry's Mod 13? Hosting for RP gamemodes specifically? And provide help and support in setting up the server? (Setting up MySQL which I have almost no idea how, and just generally good customer service with people who know what they're doing and talk in a language I can understand)
Also, some prices or promo codes would be cool!
Thanks
Elpis the best
Aye, Elpis are great but NFO have the childproof firewall options that make life so easy.
Elpis for budding servers are decent though, from what I hear.
Elpis is the best
If you were to choose a host I would go with either NFO or Elpis.
Xenon isn't a bad host, but I agree they do overload their servers. All I had to do was send them a ticket for a server move and they did it. My xenon server had 32/32 all week with no lag since the move.
You mean my server :)
Elpis, NFO or Self-hosted. Any smart man would vote for elpis.
i suggest Just Go Hosting thats who im with and my ping is never above 25 my servers hosted in france and im in scotland so thats a great ping :)
