If I switched from free to payed, will I have to change IPs? I'd rather not change ips again. And gmod servers I thought used to be more, but I can get a 16 slot for 12 dollars.
If I do have to change ips Ill just buy another server for something else because I feel that I need to give you money.

If you're comfortable with your service as it is now, you do not need to change the IP.

FUCK IT, I am done with vilayer, switching to elpis after my billing period (because now im stuck with another 20 days or so of their bullshit)
it turns out they cram a metric shitton of gameservers per box, and it feels like im hosting with a public VPS
in addition, it turns out their gameserver IPs are dynamic (lol the fuck?) and it just killed of my entire playerbase/lost my GameTracker info

Been awhile since I dealt with servers; how do I get a map to send to clients properly? I added it with resource.addfile(), and it is in the garry's mod beta maps folder (not the gamemode/contents map folder). The map is 14MB.
When connecting, the connection status thing says that it is downloading the map briefly, and moves onto the other files to download. Once all files are done, I am disconnected, "Missing map maps/mapname.bsp".

Well actually nothing at all is downloading. Same procedure, everything both in gamemode/content as well as the root game folders.

Make sure you've synced the FastDL via the control panel. If that fails, check to make sure the sv_downloadurl is set correctly and you can actually download the map by typing the download url into the web browser with garrysmod/maps/mapname.bsp. If it downloads from there, it should be downloading in game.

Additionally, your supplied auto download links for gmod beta servers read as elpishost.com/ip_port/garrysmod, instead of elpishost.com/ip_port/garrysmodbeta.

I recall having this same issue when I had my free server. Happened the first day or so and then it stopped occurring, out of the blue. I didn't have any problems after that.

Your servers are way better than what I used to pay for, and cheaper (though I'm currently using one of these free ones because I needed a server environment to test my gamemode with). The automatic fastdl service is awesome.
This is a great service you're providing. I would be interested in a small server, but too bad I'm more of a luker than a poster.

Someone's getting hit with a 5Gbps attack. I'm trying to filter it but I'm probably just going to end up nulling the IP being hit.
