What are you asking
How many servers he can usually get per box, and what the avg spec of each box is; would be helpful.

E3-1230 V2 - E3-1290 V2, 10-30 depending on the box load average. Each IP can be swapped between nodes at any time so if there ever is a load issue I can just move people without a IP:Port change, not that I've ever run into a load issue. Each node is typically around 50% cpu usage during peak hours.

Wouldn't keeping the max load at 50% be wasting the potential of the server? (Not that I would know anything about this, so correct me if I am wrong) Why wouldn't you have them peak at 80% instead, then you could hold more servers on a single node? It would be more cost effective, no?
Or does it have to do with networking or memory limitations?
Just curious.

I never said the limit was 50%, just that most severs peaked at that.
Just wondering, I used your free web hosting plan and I need to change the domain. Anyway to do this?
Just wondering, I used your free web hosting plan and I need to change the domain. Anyway to do this?
You could just use a addon domain.

Alright, if it doesn't work then I'll just berate you with questions to add on top of the ones I'm sure you get from the free server users.

Hah. :)
darksoul69, i want to shower you in money

Actually pretty damn impressed with the quality of these servers, I've had my TTT server for 2-3 weeks which is pretty populated (started at 12 slots, then 18 and currently 24 slots)

And I'm not even sure I've ever experienced a server crash, maybe once, but I'm not sure.
Sure beats any other host I've ever tried, thanks a bunch mate
anyone else's server down/panel loading super duper slow?
Yeah I don't know what's going on. I've never had this happen with Elpis
looks like a DDoS attack or at least network troubles, a trace route doesn't even make it to Incero's network
Somewhat unrelated but I thought I should point this out:

There's a situation developing right now with the datacenter I use for source servers. In a nutshell, I've been partnered with Nick on two other projects for a while now - MCLayer and RamNode. Nick sold MinecraftLayer to someone else last month and they haven't paid the bill so the owner of Incero decided to suspend the servers on that account. For some reason a single server didn't make the transition over to the newest account which is where this problem comes into play.
You'll need to note that the two accounts are not tied together any further as we are no longer part of MinecraftLayer. I've explained the situation to the owner of the datacenter but he's refusing to cooperate at all on the issue.
I had no warning at all about this and the server was supposed to have been transferred over to the second account as it was on the list when we split the accounts. I've tried to do everything possible to get him to put up the server even if only for 24 hours to get backups for everyone - but he's not doing squat.
This is the last reply I had from him after pleading my case:
Tyler, Chad, Nick, it's all the same to me there is only 1 account as far as I'm concerned. The invoices are from Nick's original account and are unpaid. Clear out the $4k that's owed and the servers will come back up. I've deleted the "Tyler" contact from this account due to abusing the ticket system. Closing ticket for the final time.
He deleted my sub-account because I was trying to save my clients data. That's ironic, huh? There was no abuse he just did not want to put up with me any further.
So moral of the story, stick with Limestone Networks and don't use datacenters that are complete asshats. I'm working on getting new nodes up in Limestone for the source servers and will eventually do a complete transition of everyone over to them. The people on the single node that is currently down will take priority and hopefully I can have you guys up and running again by Monday.
Have a Merry Christmas everyone - spend time with your families and friends and if you're currently down at least take solace in the fact that you won't be bored (hopefully!).
That blows, jackasses like that are the reason Limestone is great.
Glad I moved my MySQL off my gameserver like 5 days ago though, would've lost 5 million logs :'(

Does this effect paid servers? Mine seems too be fine.
The issue has been resolved but I'm still going to start migrating everyone over to LSN within the week after that ordeal.
Did you get my p.m. about my offer? I used to co-own a server with a friend of mine, it became pretty popular but the cost of keeping it up was too much so it got closed down, I really want to start my own server.

I obviously don't speak for dark but the last 28 pages have generally stuck to "you must meet the requirements for a server"

What kind of server?
What kind of server?
A deathrun server, we called it Implosion Gaming.
darksoul69, post on WebHostingTalk about it. The Incero rep, gordonrp, will jump at any topic about his company.

he should probably wait for the migration to LSN to finish
he should probably wait for the migration to LSN to finish
Probably, but I can't wait to see this topic. The owner has been trying to get my business to switch to him for a long time.

Is he anything like Secured Servers for you? I've been getting emails from them monthly about "SWITCH TO US WE ARE BETTER" "SWITCH TO US WE ARE CHEAPER".
Then when I actually tried one of their $50/month servers for Zenoss they cancelled it on the same day and it was an "accident" and "we put it back together and re-racked it for you, it won't happen again".
Right. I'm sure - byebye. I'd rather use IOFlood then SS any day if I go west coast.
...
I don't use Secured Servers. Incero and Secured Servers have no relationship. IOFlood I don't use either, but I've heard good things and the rep is very nice.

Oh I know there is no relationship between the two - so you don't get spammed with junk from SS as well? Shame.
