^^^
Nah, I only get offers from Incero because I asked a question via live chat once. If you ever get a WHT thread going, send me a link. I'd love to see what he says.
I've purposely put my 1000th post in here. Darksoul is a complete champ, and all the things he has done for me(and everything else in this thread) without any questions asked is amazing. He's one of the coolest people on the internet, and I'm extremely grateful for everything he's done.
The majority of the servers have been migrated to the LSN nodes now and I am accepting free requests again.
Love you darksouls <3
Love you darksouls <3
Thanks :) [editline]26th December 2012[/editline] For clarification on anyone wondering why their server is gone - it's not that I mucked up the transfer, it's that your free server was empty for a long time so I removed them.
Nevermind the PM I sent you, I got it all sorted out. Thanks again.
Wow this gordonrp seems like a asshole glad you switched over.
Wow this gordonrp seems like a asshole glad you switched over.
Yeah same. Limestone Networks is amazing.
Until January first anyone looking to switch over from Vilayer, Wolf Servers, ArtofWar Central and Xenon Servers to Elpis Host can get a free lifetime server with no strings attached. Consider this my Christmas present or new years present - either works. I am willing to match your slot count and any other features they offer you on request. You will be placed on a premium Limestone Networks node with all of the bells and whistles - AND you will be able to upload your own .dll files without waiting in line for them to upload them for you. All that you need to provide me with is a copy of your invoice with them and you must provide proof that: 1) You are a current client of the GSP you are switching from; 2) You have been with them longer then three months. Again this offer is open until the first of January and it is indeed a lifetime server with absolutely no post requirements and no active player requirements. Please create an account on https://www.elpishost.com/clients/ and open up a sales ticket linking to your post or personal PM to me and include the invoice in the ticket. Thank you and have a happy holidays! [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] The offer does not apply to Minecraft servers however, sorry! [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] I'm doing this for anyone including people I hate (so nobody asks).
aaaa stop being so awesome darksoul69 person of the year all years
Thanks :)
I will build a time machine just to get a server to be hosted for three months with one of those hosts.
I will build a time machine just to get a server to be hosted for three months with one of those hosts.
You'll need 1.21 gigawatts for that.
You'll need 1.21 gigawatts for that.
and a delorean...
and a delorean...
Yes that as well.
And a sidekick with a kickass orange jacket.
Just a quick question - If I get up to 500 posts, and have my first server going great, is it be possible to get a second one? I don't want to sound greedy or anything, but my minecraft server and my website already eat all of my income.
You'll need 1.21 gigawatts for that.
is 121gigabytes enough cause I got that
http://cp.elpishost.com/ Server error or is it just me?
yeah, cp is dead
not just you
Man these servers really don't want me to access them, I couldn't get on ftp for a couple days now this :( .
Man these servers really don't want me to access them, I couldn't get on ftp for a couple days now this :( .
At least it doesn't crash every hour like it did back in June of 2011. I remember getting woken up every single night for two weeks straight at 1AM-3AM via cellphone call because it crashed.
This is actually the best thing ever. EDIT: sucks I don't remember the password to my other FP account :(
Ack, if only I had my server with Xenon 2 more months.. Honestly my experience with Elpis has been so great I feel obligated to pay more than I am for the service. Only problem I'm having is intermittent slow FTP access, but when it's fast it's significantly faster than what I had with Xenon.
Im not sure if any other providers have this, but is there a way to checkout and update a SVN into the server?
Im not sure if any other providers have this, but is there a way to checkout and update a SVN into the server?
I'm planning on adding this but Luis still needs to implement an additional feature into the panel first. IE it has the option now for custom scripts/icons on the control panel, but it doesn't let the user input anything before it runs.

What do you guys want to see added to the control panel? I've added BZ2 on maps and I'm going to add SVN checkouts once I'm able to. I'm also adding in firewall options per gameserver. Is there anything else I should add?
