stop getting offended over stupid shit or disable sprays. if you think someone spraying a swastika is offensive you shouldn't be on the internet because you're going to find a lot, lot worse
youre so edgy
I really hate getting banned for RDM. Scratch that. I hate any rule with precursors something being random. You can't judge random from a victims perspective.
I'll tell you a stupid reason someone told me to ban people for: "His ping is over 140 plz ban him hes lagging the serveur" >everyone elses ping was under 40
I agree. I hate it when people think others with a high ping are the reason a server is lagging.
Got banned from a RP community for trying to kill a admin, fucker was surrounded by atleast 5 raiders and he said he could've got out of it.

not being furry enough, on a non-furry server
I agree. I hate it when people think others with a high ping are the reason a server is lagging.
It can cause server lagging, though. It adds the time the server has to make sure packets are sent out because the higher the ping the higher the lossrate usually so it puts a little more load on the server which is noticable if a US server is full of European players

The server doesn't wait to confirm all packets are received by the client before it continues plodding along. It sends out the data and continues with the rest of the server. IT can caused lagged interactions between the player and the server, which basically means any scenario the player is involved with. I don't know of any reason why the server itself would lag due to a single players latency. Only interactions with that player, for obvious reasons.
Shooting admins in the face with a magnum because me and my friend shot some bitch ass police fuck the police king kong dont got shit on me
I killed Osama Bin Laden on a Dark RP server when I was S.W.A.T. It was my god-given right The admin didn't think so

That's peer to peer as far as I know
That's peer to peer as far as I know
It's mostly older games that suffer from this. Not P2P.
I got banned in a stranded server for setting fire to my own house.
I really hate getting banned for RDM. Scratch that. I hate any rule with precursors something being random. You can't judge random from a victims perspective.
If you play TTT while you are innocent and shoot the detective + 3 other people in the face it is pretty safe to assume it is random.
If you play TTT while you are innocent and shoot the detective + 3 other people in the face it is pretty safe to assume it is random.
More-or-less with RP in mind. TTT is more understandable with RDM or DM, but when it comes to RP it's just, "Why judge?" when ever you've gotta deal with someone calling for a reason.

I just made a pull request on ULX/ULib. Next time you get banned on latest ULX, you'll see who banned you and for how long you're banned. Previously you only saw a "kicked" message, even if you were banned. It annoyed the fuck out of me, I would always rejoin only to find out I'm banned. And I never knew for how long I was banned.
[Snipped the terrible OP introduction I had made before] What are the most idiotic reasons you were banned from a GMod server? My example: I got banned permanently from a server because I was new to Garry's Mod (version 9) and ended up knocking down an unfinished domino trail.
Er..... Yea If you joined my server and I spent a long time making a domino trail and you knocked it down I would Perma ban you :D
Even now? Now you can make it piss easy. I have never played Gmod 9 but it probably had way less tools than now.
Why would you make it unfrozen in the first place?
Why would you make it unfrozen in the first place?
dominoes don't work very well if they don't move
...So unfreeze them after you've duped them and want to test.
Recently went on a WW2RP server and got banned for being a Nazi. I don't think they understood what in-character roleplay was.
Spawning a harmless E2 that causes the server admins to noclip over and insta-ban me without even checking it. 7 servers have done this. I'm so fucking mad.
Spawning a harmless E2 that causes the server admins to noclip over and insta-ban me without even checking it. 7 servers have done this. I'm so fucking mad.
*server lags* QUICK! Ban the new guy with an E2!
Well, lets see. i once got in a TTT server with a whiny kid, he wanted to be a detective, i think. (he was screaming alot on the mic, i couldn't figure exactly what he was saying.) on the next round, i was a detective, that kid raged, and turns out he was an admin. Banned, reason: "class hack." what sick people put 11 year old kids as admin? here's another one: i got interested in darkRP, because i actually love roleplaying. i was roleplaying a normal civilian, just having fun exploring the map. 2 admins were on, and they were building a... bridge i think. i was minding my own business til' one of them called me to check it out, not only me, but like... the entire server. i and some people came to their construction, but i stepped on the bridge acidentally and got banned, happily i was not perma'd. Reason? "GRIEFING".
Made a hut, then made a wall and they banned me because : "No using minecraft blocks and shape is round." I proceeded to block the server, never seeing it again.
