MOST stupid reason you got banned from a GMod server? - Garry's Mod

I have a feeling 98% of these stories are made up.

I was developer on a jailbreak server, i joined a different jailbreak server for a day to get some ideas, i come back to the one im developer on, get my ranks stripped and perm banned for playing another server. Needless to say, the server went down a week later cause the gmod update broke the gamemode and they had no one to fix it.

I got banned for a hour from a trial admin. I was trial admin too, but apparently that other admin didn't like me around her surroundings and banned me. For? "I don't like you around me"

I 'minged' an admin. More on the line, he yelled at me for using woodwar planes for dogfighting(on rp server), and basically said it wasn't roleplay. I asked him what he thinks roleplay is, and in his exact words, "Roleplay is people playing roles." I replied, "Then how exactly is roleplaying dogfighting stuntsman bad?" he choked, and went "WELL GET THE FUCK OFF MY SERVER" and I replied "Why? I'm roleplaying am I not?" banned for three hours for being a minge. I could honestly write a book by now regarding how fucking idiotic people get when trying to define roleplay.

Spawning drunken combine, and using /rape on an admin.

My ban reason was "Stop fucking swearing theres kids on the server". Dumbest admin around.

RDMing even though the guy was carrying a traitor weapon.

I got banned for mentioning the word "adminge" on a PeZ server, without calling any admin an adminge, but just by saying the word. Then i got banned for lying when i told them i was calling anyone an adminge mind control is freaky stuff dude!

Banned for 2 hours for running away from the the CP on a HL2 RP server. Apparently i should have stopped running when i was getting shot at and accepted my fate, that doesn't sound like RP to me

Nobody would run while they're being shot at.

Many many years ago on one of the early versions of garrysmod, I tried joining a multiplayer server. This was before normal text chat was implemented. I got ingame, to see 2 people messing around building stuff, then one of pulled out the wheel tool and started shooting the wall, slowly making the words 'GET OUT'. Then I got chain killed and banned :smith:

Hm. I've got another one. When I joined a build server, I was banned for "Not building" within two seconds of joining.

I only hacked the data base, turned admins on each other, caused a HUGE power struggle, got 67 permad, turned the server into a warzone, used the box to DDos and send viruses and spam, and exsterminated the people whom dis approved of my power, then I went on to break the community in half, they turned into two warring factions DDosing each other.. I DID NOTHING WRONG! :suicide:

[img]http://i52.tinypic.com/xge14o.jpg[/img] I found a safe spot to snipe on a TTT server, sniped the five people that were screwing around with a ragdoll (and thus not paying attention or even moving). Then the rest of the people just come charging up the ladder to where I was, and since you climb ladders headfirst... I got banned as soon as I took that pic for 'aimbotting you f***ing hacker'. So yeah, I got banned for standing at the edge of ladder basically.

I was on a TTT server, and we were trying to figure out the last traitor. So I just randomly turned around and shot a guy in the face. Turns out, he was the traitor. I used absolutely no deductive thinking, and I was just getting bored of that round. I got banned for "griefing."

I really want to play some TTT now :smith:

I got banned for 24 hours for the reason "rdmming an admin" ... i was traitor -_-' I hate these 11 year old kiddys who cant check damage logs

I got permabanned for an admin giving me admin on accident. Said I hacked his computer to make it do it.
