MOST stupid reason you got banned from a GMod server? - Garry's Mod

If you trolled then you deserved your ban, just saying. Even if the server sucks, why waste time trolling it?

i was banned for : [Gmod 10] -Having more than 100k [random rp server] [gmod 13] -for not ever score a kill [TTT] -saving people from minge/rdmer by Proptrap the minges/rdmer [darkrp] -for having too much ping [random rp server] -For helping the cops as black market dealer [darkrp] -For Posting a text screen "we don't support rdm and random arrests" in front of PD [darkrp]

Got perma banned from CarbonRP for using 'Fire Hacks' during a raid. The Story: A group of rebels were acting like assholes on the server by going around and randomly shooting the police. [SSL] Steve was spawning firearms via admin commands, and whenever the war was going against the rebels they would automatically post something like, "stop the war? yes/no" knowing that the rebel team, which was 15 men strong... Would automatically vote, yes. Quiet fed up with this, and have it the gundealer I was body-guarding kept getting raided, I organized a raiding party, and attacked their base in the Slums side of DowntownV4. Using DarkRP's firespread system[which isn't removed yet], I set fire to all of their fortifications via Glass PHX props/wire igniters. After burning down the frontal walls we all moved inside and began burning down the remainder of their base where our little friend, Steve decided to try and end the 'war' because he realized his little impenetrable base had been all but destroyed and most of the rebels were actually defecting or surrendering. While we were destroying the forts contraband and destroying weapon crates owned by the weebels, Steve stepped in and picked us up numerous times trying to force us out of the building hoping that we wouldn't raze the base[we had already set all the wooden props on the walls to do this]. I truly was fed up with his bias-adminstration and promptly killed him and set fire to the entire base, burning it all down to the ground before he decided to finally perma ban me for 'Fire Hacks'. Gotta love the Bias Adminstration brought by forced rules.

Even as an exploit though, I could of simply done the same thing with money printers. Firespread is a nuisance to DarkRP in the sense that it's always going to be easily exploitable.

Banned for : "trolly" All i did was the server wasn't going to have a very good community if they advertise DONATIONS everywhere on there server.

Tried ByB again because im a masochist. My friend and I see a guy with like 60 crates of awps and we're like. YUP THATS OURS we kill him and run. The guy we killed was a donator, so apparently he doesn't have to follow the rules or some shit. he respawns and instantly starts shooting at us. My friend kills him for shooting at me because I have all the guns. He dies again, and I make my get away. The donator calls over the admin and says that we're spawnkilling him. My friend is instantly day banned and the admin starts threating to hand over the items or I'll be banned. I say "no" and he proceeds to kill me, kill me again in spawn, jail me, and jail me 4 more times afterwards. ByB is like the casey anthony of parenting. Just so fucking horrible. I like to think of my administration as a kind of government, Like the United States Congress. ByB, however, seems like it may be a more childish form of greece. The majority of admin abuse there results from raids. The closest thing to RP on that server. Being a donator just means more people will randomly attack and shoot you just hoping you have some sort of "elusive" donator item that is extremely overpowered. Admins don't need to be intelligent in their banning either. I've been banned and retaliated with many disrespectful reasons from ByB's forums before. In fact, once when I was randomly banned, I decided to inquire the admin as to why. This was the SUPERadmin's response: "You're stupid and banned, tihi." I got tired of hearing the bullshit about equality and acceptance in the server. Here's my experience in ByB's "roleplay" environment and why I've been, or threatened to be banned: -Homophobia is "not allowed" yet admins have threatened to ban me for a spray of Batman and Joker Kissing. -Disrespect is "not allowed" yet admins rebutted my claims in ban disputes with "no ur stupid an it didn't go that way.". -Proper RP is "encouraged" yet RPing a DJ has led to mutes and bans. I've caught Root administrators abusing, yet when I sent Demos around the ban request was locked by the administrator himself. When I sent it to the owner, I was told that "this abuse doesn't happen that often" and that was why the administrator wouldn't even receive a warning. TL;DR You can't play if you didn't donate, you can't play if you did donate and the only way to last more than a month is to be an admin yourself.

Adding another server to the already gigantic shitlist. Any server runned by UrbanGamers promotes retardation. That's a given. Now I joined today cause I picked up on a rumor that the server finally added a radio-broadcasting job. Something that allows players to you know... Freely speak their minds? When I entered the server, I was greeted with a 12 Year Old on Microphone playing some terribly washed out Soulja Boy while shouting on microphone, "IS IT WOKING" I sent the kid numerous requests saying I would be willing to play some higher quality music or host a talkshow. The kid never replied, and kept splurging out 'ISH IT WOKING'. Quiet annoyed with this[as many others were] I went down to the sewers and turned off the kids radio while he was playing NWA, and told him to get a better music to voice program. He didn't listen, and instead took the microphone and ran out of the sewers, and kept prop-pushing me down when I tried climbing up the ladder. The admin who was nearby watched this incident, but didn't bother intervening, and instead just let the situation unfold. I chased the player out of the sewers on Bangclaw, and tossed him into the sky with a prop, and he fell down and died. I then got a taste of UrbanGamers, new anti-propkilling script! A very giant redscreen appeared telling me that I had propkilled, and that the only way for me to get out of this screen was by typing in chat "//I'm a giantic propkilling retard" the admin[Alberster] came around and told me I should of contacted an admin about the situation. Yet he had been following me for the past five minutes, and witnessed the situation unfold. He also said that I should do what the red-screen says to do and 'accept my punishment' I just left afterwards. Also small question if anyone on UG somehow stumbles on this: Why the fuck is Radio Broadcaster an VIP Job? Of all the jobs you could make VIP like the Gundealer or Mayor, you make the class about doing talkshows/radio shows VIP only... So that 12 Year Olds which think LOLRANDOM is funny, are the only ones able to broadcast?

Friendly Players Roleplay I was roleplaying and one of the admins robbed me and killed me over and over and he rdmed me over 20 times so i go and buy a deagle and kill him once and i got perma-banned for "Rdming The admin." Then i talked to him on steam and he said "Why did you rdm me?" So i typed back, "You Bloody Rdmed me 20 times!" And he said back, "Don't lie to the admins!" Then he blocked me D: Friendly Players are not friendly after all they are just a bunche of dicks. (Most of them)

We added the radio-broadcasting job around 2 weeks ago, the main purpose for it (imo) was so that people could broadcast music, take requests and so on. I think we all have enough of kids running around as hobos screaming through the mic to not want them on the radio, too. The type of music played through the radio is completely the radio-broadcasters choice. It's also your choice wether or not you want to listen. Common sense tells me that if you dislike the music taste of someone then you wouldn't listen. If multiple people were being irritated and/or unhappy with the music being broadcasted then you could have demoted the radio-broadcaster. IIRC you cannot turn off the microphone unless you are the entities owner. If he did proppush you then you should have used "@ message" to contact a admin and he would have dealt with it the proper way. Infact, if the member was VIP and breaking rules he will have his powers revoked for x days as a punishment. Depending on the time you were playing we probably had 35+ players online, it is quite possible he could have been spectating someone, afk, chatting on Steam and whatever else. Before the server would automatically promote a user to 'member' after they have 36 hours played in our server, this rank provides multiple benefits. One of them being access to a couple of jobs that CAN be annoying/abused. Plus it gives a goal to playing on the server. Once I have utimer completely working then it will be put back to the member rank along with a few others. Again, I apologies for my admin if he did anything wrong. If you have any further issues in my server please take pictures/videos and post them in my forum with the proper format, they will be replied to and the rulebreakers punished.

I told him I could convert whatever music he's playing right now, and make it have a better sound quality.
