MOST stupid reason you got banned from a GMod server? - Garry's Mod

Banned from ByB. (What a shocker!) The RDM charge is BS. I never once got a gun, let alone killed someone the entire time I was on. For the propspam charge? I was just simply spawning CSS glass and smashing it every so often. (There was hardly anyone on and none of them cared) My best guess is that when the admin finally came out of his deep AFK hypersleep, he checked the console and saw the props I've spawned over quite some time and thought I was spamming and randomly added an RDM charge to make it look good. you can solve the "spawn above head" one by setting the mass really low though (usually you can solve it this way, there are a few props that can still get you)

People get banned all the time, I only argue when people make obvious lies.

Giving every prop a low mass makes it look like you're playing gmod with a low gravity. Contraptions will be affected too. Definitely not worth the anti prop kill.

I got banned from ByB because I posted about it's faults in this thread.

I just got banned from some server called "SaintsRP" permanently for "nigger". The real reason the owner "Mick" banned me was because some kid was turning every ones screens black with some glitch and then "Mick" said "I'm going to start backtracking IP's and having fun soon". After that i then said "LOL backtracking IP's??? What is that going to do"? After that BAM i was banned permanently for "nigger".

But it was still dumb ass fuck why he banned you, and thats another reason out of millions why I stay out of Rp servers.

Sort of going off topic, what I don't understand is there's many communities that do pay for rank, including my own, but ByB seems to get the most attention because of the fact. I guess my question is what makes it different from other servers that do the exact same thing that it's constantly being brought up in this thread. I'm not trying to down ByB, or my own community, but I see the flaws with pay for rank as well, just seems people target ByB, because it's an easy target and to piss Pantho off. I realize I'm probably going to get dumb ratings for this post, just trying to see why it always seems like a rebellion against ByB in this thread, when there's worse Garry's Mod communities.

Same people constantly moaning gives a distorted perception. No matter what I write I will get dumb markings in this thread. Take my last post, I apologized for making a mistake, is it wrong to admit when making a mistake? Of course the same idiots will reply "You shouldn't make mistakes!" but bla bla etc etc. No point having the usual arguments again.

I don't like any server that pays for rank. ByB is just special because the owner always shows up to scream at people at the slightest criticism, so we make sure to mention it a lot.

when playing Trouble in Terrorist Town, I killed someone who had a silenced M16 at the beginning of the game. Sorry for blowing your brains out, admin! :v: (this probably happened to pretty much everyone and I am super late or something)

Decided to try a server that wasn't mine for once and be adventurous. A couple of seconds in an admin was complaining about LUA Errors, So i asked if i could be of assistance. Banned for "Trolling"

Fuck build servers sometimes. I was making an ejector pod for a mech I was making, and I was inside of it getting ready to test and some fucking squeaking child comes running over saying "what you making I want it it looks cool Blah Blah fucking Blah. I said no Im testing please move. He proceeds to stand on it then I ejected it killing him and I was banned for "RDM FAGGT" exact words... Fucking child was an admin. ERRRR I sware the move from 12-13 spawned the butt load of children that now infest our decent servers, and the fucking idiots who make them admin.

Well I've played ByB stronghold a lot and I can safely say I've had less problems with it than any other server Not saying that his admins aren't shit but you guys should give credit where credit is due is all i'm saying.

I changed my name in-game on a TTT server and got banned for 10 minutes.
