MOST stupid reason you got banned from a GMod server? - Garry's Mod

I once got banned on a RP server for a messed up reason. The server owner was called "Computer22" and I changed my steam name to "Laptop22". A few seconds afterwards, I was banned for "Making fun of the owner"

Got banned once for finding a glitch in the admin's custom RP gamemode where I could duplicate the money I had deposited on a bank. The admin thought I had too much money and banned me.

The first (and only, really) time I ever went on a Garry's Mod server, I banned because I am a female. I did not say it really and my Steam display name is gender-neutral (just "Chocolate") but I had a female playermodel. I was in corner, out of the way, making a watermelon structure (I like making watermelon structures), and when I was asked if I was a female I said yes. That was a bad idea, because I immediately got a lot of "tits or gtfo" and many three-letter speculations on my sexual preferences, which was mildly alarming (I'm asexual), then before I could do anything I got banned. Anyways, I'm worried about something like this happening again and thus I stay far away from multiplayer.

I don't know what servers you go on, but the moment someone asks if I am a female and I say yes, the entire server is basically in my pocket.

Not all of the community is like this. You should grab a few friends and play private multiplayer. I think it would suit you better.

Well, I'm happy enough in single-player. I just wanting to see what the appeal of multiplayer was.

I was banned for raiding some dude's house in RP and stole all his plants, killed him. He bitched and moaned until an admin came and said I was meta-gaming(which was bs because I wasn't). And that was the end of it... bs because I get raided all the time and I don't bitch about it + you're allowed to raid. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I got banned for making my RP house too realistic. Some guys managed to trip over one of my chairs, killing him.

Actually I nearly killed myself in my house the other month, I woke up in a puddle of blood and a 3.5inch straight across my head. Stupid door frame :(. So yea, valid RP death me thinks.

Dead Gaming server.. start of the round, I hear a body falling on the floor, look back and there it is, a guy over a body, identifying it, when I search the body it was killed 5 seconds ago by a KNIFE, obviously him, I kill him, as soon as I kill him, I get slayed, uh oh, he was the owner of the server, I try to explain my reasons, he mutes me, I use @ to tell him he had just killed a guy with a knife, that it was obvious, and that he was being a bad looser(not that kind of looser, from the verb, to loose something, in that case, the match), he calls me a "f*g kid", and perma bans me.. I try to make an unban request on the forum, many people support my cause, and he bans me from the forum.. lol very very dumb!

never care about being banned for shitty reasons because that just means the server wasnt worth my time anyway

You can't dance on the edge of a chair IRL.

I once got banned by an admin for the reason something like 'my friend needs to join the server'. That's when I realised DarkRP is mostly full of assholes and looked for a proper RP server.

Joined one of those stilleto servers a while back (Only server I could find that all wiremod tools are allowed without having to be an admin). I set up a RadioOuthouse, making fun of radio shack and sold radios and even taught wire lessons for free. An 11 year old (isn't it always) noclipped into my house, propblocked the door and froze me with the physgun. Seeing this situation unfold, he demanded all my money. I said no and pulled out a Deagle. He then stripped me of weapons, and demanded again. I said that he was persistent and no again. He then typed "BANED U IDIT" and banned me for FailRP. Since the server is new, it had no forums to request an unban. If anyone else has a server resembling the server I described at the beggining, please pm me and I will join as soon as I get the chance. Thanks.

I joined Admin was talking to client who was complaining about racist comments against him Admin says he doesn't have evidence I say admins should spectate to get evidence of offences Admin says he can't spectate because everyone needs him (What the fuck is the logic behind that!?) Admin teleports to someone else BANS the guy who complained about racism for "prop kill" I asked why the fuck he was banned for prop killing. I was talking to him and he was standing still. He said it was proven to be true because like 3 people said he did. Again, perfect fucking logic. I criticize him for relying on witnesses. People attack me for defending this guy, whom I don't even fucking know. Disconnect: Kicked by [SRP]Exadon(STEAM_0:1:28858029) (Banned for 10 minute(s): I said shut up). Pure fucking censorship if you ask me. Exadon is a dumb fucking cunt. I hate servers doing that because I always know that some admin will be a jackass no matter how long he's playing on the server.

Based on the idea that everyone hates the servers with Pay4Admin, someone needs to kindly ask garry to index the servers with that service, and add a little warning icon on the server browser :3
